What would happen if you discovered that your family was one of the most powerful in human history? What if you were told that the source of the family's power was hidden around the world, in the form of 39 Clues? What if you were given a choice - take a million dollars and walk away...or get the first Clue? If you're Amy and Dan Cahill, you take the Clue - and begin a very dangerous race.

What did you love best about The 39 Clues, Book 1?

Amy and Dan are admirable, yet believable.

    Any additional comments?

I liked book 1 and I will probably add the rest to my wish list. Though, If they are only going to solve 1 clue per book, I don't know if I will have the patience to listen to all of them. Amy and Dan need to learn not to talk so loudly, they also need to stop letting their relatives sneak up on them so easily.

Cooper Krenshaw knows what it's like to feel the bright lights upon him, the sound of the crowd roaring when he walks on stage; after all, he happens to be one of the biggest names in country music at the moment. And he has knowingly just dropped off the grid; the first decision he has made on his own in quite some time. Cooper only thought he was looking for a challenge when he walked off of that concert stage in Chicago. After finding himself in Devil's Bend, Texas, he soon realizes that the dream he's been chasing might not be the one he was after all along.

What disappointed you about Chasing Dreams?

    It's my fault , really. I didn't realize I was buying porn.

Would you ever listen to anything by Nicole Edwards again?

Nope she is too crude for my taste. I'm sure she has a fan base though. Tattoo covered bleach blonds that yell Woo Hoo a lot and drink daily.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Boredom, and a sore finger from fast forwarding through the sex

    Any additional comments?

This book Probably appeals to some, it's just too crude for me. If you took the sex out there wouldn't be enough plot for a commercial. I realize a lot of people worked hard to make this book happen, and I feel bad for them.

What made the experience of listening to Nickel Plated the most enjoyable?

Nickel is the kind of kid I would have loved to have as a friend when I was young. I wanted to take care of him and give him a big hug. I love that the author didn't write him as an idiot just because he is a child. This book screams the praise of smart kids everywhere.

What did you like best about this story?

There isn't one bit that's better than the rest.

Have you listened to any of Nick Podehl’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not. He was a good choice for the narrator though. His voice had the right cadence for the character. His performance was seamless.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I listened in two sittings.

    Any additional comments?

I would love a sequel. PLEASE!!!!!!

STOP. You should not have touched this flyer with your bare hands. NO, don't put it down. It's too late. They're watching you. My name is David Wong. My best friend is John. Those names are fake. You might want to change yours. You may not want to know about the things you'll read on these pages, about the sauce, about Korrok, about the invasion, and the future. But it's too late. You touched the book. You're in the game. You're under the eye. The only defense is knowledge. You need to read this book, to the end. Even the part with the bratwurst. Why?

The 50 contestants in the Miss Teen Dream pageant thought this was going to be a fun trip to the beach, where they could parade in their state-appropriate costumes and compete in front of the cameras. But sadly, their airplane had another idea, crashing on a desert island and leaving the survivors stranded with little food, little water, and practically no eyeliner. What’s a beauty queen to do? Continue to practice for the talent portion of the program - or wrestle snakes to the ground? Get a perfect tan - or learn to run wild? And what should happen when the sexy pirates show up?

Would you listen to Crocodile on the Sandbank again? Why?

Yes, I have listened twice already. The story flows beautifully. he main character is admirable and formidable. She is strong but not crass, The plot is mysterious and romantic without being as "In your face" as other romantic jaunts can be.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I can usually guess who done it before the end, I get a kick out of a story that keeps me guessing as long as possible. This was more fun than edge of your seat.

Which character – as performed by Barbara Rosenblat – was your favorite?

I liked all the characters that I was supposed to. They all had their quirks.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

If society collapsed, could you survive? When Morgan Carter's car breaks down 250 miles from his home, he figures his weekend plans are ruined. But things are about to get much, much worse: the country's power grid has collapsed. There is no electricity, no running water, no Internet, and no way to know when normalcy will be restored - if it ever will be.

What would have made Going Home better?

If there had been one female character in it who wasn't in need of constant supervision and protection. if he didn't explain every piece of survival gear to death. If the main character had been even a little more intelligent and way less sanctimonious.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Zombie Fallout

Have you listened to any of Duke Fontaine’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not. I thought his voice was pleasant. I would definitely listen to him again.

What character would you cut from Going Home?

The Idiot girl who shot him in the head. She was an Insult to women everywhere. I would have left her on the second day.

    Any additional comments?

There were parts of this book that shined. Sarge and Driver were very well written.. Morgan was cocky and irritating. The bad guys fell like they were in a Stallone movie from the 80s. Nobody got blisters or sore arches. The admittedly out of shape Morgan was able to carry a 60 lb pack for 10 miles a day or more. All liberals are the bad guys just looking for a handout, The government is out to get all of us. Society collapsed within a day of losing electricity.

Young Lerris is dissatisfied with his life and trade, and yearns to find a place in the world better suited to his skills and temperament. But in Recluce a change in circumstances means taking one of two options: permanent exile from Recluce or braving the dangergeld, a complex, rule-laden wanderjahr in the lands beyond Recluce, with the aim of learning how the world works and what his place in it might be. Many do not survive. Lerris chooses the dangergeld.

What did you like best about The Magic of Recluce? What did you like least?

The story line was new and interesting. The constant Swish, whirr POP! Slam! were off putting and interfered with the flow of the story. They were too loud, and just seemed dumb. Just say there was a loud Slam as the door swung shut, lose the sound effects.

What other book might you compare The Magic of Recluce to and why?

The endover novels. Because I can't think of any other I have read that are similar.

Which character – as performed by Kirby Heyborne – was your favorite?

    There weren't any.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Nope
