Would you consider the audio edition of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron to be better than the print version?

I've not read the books. I advise reading them in order, but each one -thus far- is a stand alone.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron?

Ainsley's clever thievery -past and current & learning of how Cameron received his scars.

Have you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, she is EXCELLENT in ALL the Highland Pleasures books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but it took me several days... oh, to be able to listen to the whole series at once without interruption!

    Any additional comments?

Great plot and sub plot...also glad for the hints of upcoming books in the series.

NOTE: Some strong language and a few sexual 'encounters'.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely and I'm strictly a contemporary romance fan. Usually HATE historical romances.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Isabella, which is surprisingly for me as I tend to favor the hero. She is a strong woman trying to figure things out. She has dust-ups with Mac without trying to emasculate him.

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice as Isabella is beautifully smooth and she is still able to carry off the challenges of the male characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole subplot with the impersonator was of great interest...I cannot choose a specific scene without 'spoiling'.

    Any additional comments?

This is pretty mild with some sexual scenes and a bit of cussing.

After the murder of a teenage girl, a mysterious man in a black leather jacket was seen lurking near the crime scene. Investigative reporter Tessa Novak has him in her sights as the culprit. That man was Julian Darcangelo, an undercover FBI agent working with the Denver police. He's closing in on the trail of a human trafficker and killer. Tessa's accusations could blow his cover, and he wants her off the investigation. But just as Tessa has made Julian a target of interest, she is now a target of the killer.

What did you like best about Hard Evidence? What did you like least?

The story of murder and the investigation that follows.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Julian! He was so dark, deep and sexy!

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I love Kaleo Griffith's performance in the previous I-Team book & most in this book. However, his portrayal of Tessa's character (with a southern accent) sounded like a female Forrest Gump.

Did Hard Evidence inspire you to do anything?

Like what exactly? I am looking forward to listening to the rest in this series.

It's 1875, and the morals of Queen Victoria mean nothing to London's wayward and debauched elite. Young but naïve Clarissa Longleigh is visiting London for the first time. She is eager to meet Lord Marldon, the man to whom she's been promised, knowing only that he's handsome, dark, and sophisticated. In fact he is depraved, louche, and has a taste for sexual excess.

    Story
Would you try another book from Kristina Lloyd and/or Gracie Lockhart?

Probably not as there was no real ongoing plot-the beginning had promise, the end was pretty good; but the middle went on and on. It was basically a book about sexual dominance over a woman who seemed to have no self control.

    The narrator was good.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

    The attempted rescue.

Which character – as performed by Gracie Lockhart – was your favorite?

    Probably Gabriel.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

I don't know, perhaps a little self control and fight from Clarissa.

    Any additional comments?

This reminded me of The Marketplace - This is as many have commented; raunchy, graphic, erotica. If you like Maya Banks, Sylvia Day, Lora Leigh, etc. this may be too much for you OR you may like it. For me it was a bit too much.

NOTE: Strong language and VERY graphic [at times taboo] sex

Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy’s athletic prowess, Carolyn is gaining an - um - intimate knowledge of her new neighbor's nocturnal adventures. And since Caroline is currently on a self-imposed "dating hiatus," and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Simon Parker, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor.

If you could sum up Wallbanger in three words, what would they be?

    Funny, smart, clever

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    FINALLY!

Have you listened to any of Heather Smith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but she does an excellent job.

If you could rename Wallbanger, what would you call it?

    No rename-it is PERFECT

    Any additional comments?

This book was hilarious, full of sexual tension but very general [as opposed to graphic] in the descriptions of the any sexual acts.

I didn't really care for the naming of body parts and I was SO tired of hearing phrases like "she, the big O makes an appearance".

Along the lines of Sophie Kinsella & Marian Keys in the humor & relationship departments.

Note: Sexual situations and some strong language

If you’ve listened to books by Maya Banks before, how does this one compare?

I love Maya Banks and started this series because I'd listened to everything else she had written. The first two in the series are creepy (in my opinion) but this one is 100x's better. The series would rank pretty low but this book brings it up a bit.

What about Freddie Bates’s performance did you like?

He is consistent and able to perform 7 male characters with some distinction.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes, and I did.

When police officer Seth Colter sees the delicate, shabbily dressed beauty in line at the soup kitchen where he's serving, he's gut shot over the idea of her being on the streets cold and alone. More baffling is the dark, possessive instinct that tells him she belongs to him. For Lily Weston, home is a secluded nook in a back alley - until Seth offers her a place to stay. She's wary of his offer, but even one night out of the cold is too much temptation to resist. Seth is convinced Lily is his. The problem is, when his brothers lay eyes on her, the same primitive instinct comes roaring to the surface.

What did you like best about Colters' Lady? What did you like least?

Best and least-The sex scenes (least because it was brothers).

    Which scene was your favorite?

Trying to be really general so as not to 'spoil' - Lily confronting the other party with knowledge of her secret past. The confrontation does not pan out as I expected; it was a pleasant surprise!

Do you think Colters' Lady needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There IS a follow up -Colter's Daughter- and I'm glad I stuck with the series because it is THE BEST (and most believable). Thus far I recommend that one.

    Any additional comments?

The back/sub story is pretty weak-unlike the 1st and 3rd books.

The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

    Story
What did you like best about Entwined With You? What did you like least?

I enjoyed the continuation and the interplay with the characters.

The thing I liked the least is that nothing was wrapped up - in the previous books there was an obvious sub plot (Book 1 Ava & Gideon begin and and begin to deal with Ava's broken past - Book 2 deals with Ava's stepbrother) within the relationship that came to a resolution-this book did not have that. This seemed a lot like 'filler', we learned nothing new about Gideon's brokenness.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

More details and healing insight to Gideon's trauma & something beyond the relationship of Ava & Gideon than 'I'm jealous, forgive me.' 'No I'm jealous, forgive me.' etc.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The dance club-AWESOME!

Was Entwined With You worth the listening time?

Yes, as I'm addicted to the series. But I would not recommend to a new reader until the whole series is published as this drip, drip is maddening!

    Any additional comments?

    Strong language and sexual content.

A childhood accident left Emmaline vulnerable to disturbing fugue states that last minutes but feel like an eternity. The blackouts are unsettling but manageable... until she meets Johnny Dellasandro. The painter gained fame in the '70s for his debauched lifestyle and raunchy art films. His naked body achieved cult status, especially in Emm's mind - she's obsessed with the man, who's grown even sexier with age. Today he shuns the spotlight and Emm... until she falls into a fugue on his doorstep.
