The Zombie War came unthinkably close to eradicating humanity. Max Brooks, driven by the urgency of preserving the acid-etched firsthand experiences of the survivors from those apocalyptic years, traveled across the United States of America and throughout the world, from decimated cities that once teemed with upwards of thirty million souls to the most remote and inhospitable areas of the planet. He recorded the testimony of men, women, and sometimes children who came face-to-face with the living - or at least the undead - hell of that dreadful time.

Where does World War Z rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I am not big zombie's story fan, but the approach of the book (after war) the different stories (different point of views - characters so differents) and the different narrators (voices and accents) make it a very good audio book.

I really enjoy the format and the performance. If I have to find something to critic I will say one or two stories had too much of weapon's details and i felt lost :-) and it look too long. but my rating still 5 stars.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I always have the feeling with audio books that the na

What made the experience of listening to El Imperio eres tu (The Empire is you) the most enjoyable?

The voice and the music was fantastic (First time with music and It worked very well. Not sure with all the books will work like that but with this went well)

What does Juan Antonio Bernal bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice gives the solemnity to the story

    Any additional comments?

BUt, two chapters were cut, number 30 and 50. Both end with sentence cut (terrible!!!, not sure how much I missed)

Plus, some sentences are duplicated :-(

The Devil comes to Moscow, but he isn't all bad; Pontius Pilate sentences a charismatic leader to his death, but yearns for redemption; and a writer tries to destroy his greatest tale, but discovers that manuscripts don't burn. Multi-layered and entrancing, blending sharp satire with glorious fantasy, The Master and Margarita is ceaselessly inventive and profoundly moving. In its imaginative freedom and raising of eternal human concerns, it is one of the world's great novels.

Would you listen to The Master and Margarita again? Why?

No. The story did not catch me.

Would you recommend The Master and Margarita to your friends? Why or why not?

Some of them. It is not a story for all of them.

What about Julian Rhind-Tutt’s performance did you like?

It was very good. Tone was very good and the difference among characters very good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    No.
