"Thought Provoking"
This is a must read for every concerned American Citizen. The author presents facts and information straight forward and lets the reader draw their own conclusion. I recomended this book to everyone I know. I will never look at banks, drug companies, and even the government in the same way.
"One of my favorites"
Yes, I would definitely recommend this audiobook to a friend or anyone who enjoys a good listen.
I have over 200 audiobooks in my library and this is one of my favorites. It's not very often that I listen to a book over again after I have finished it but this is one of the few exceptions. The main character, Frost, is very likable, and riotously funny, in a way that only British humor can deliver.
Mr. Thorne made detective Frost come to life. His voice was pleasant to listen too and he had a wide range of character voices so you were never confused as to what character was talking.
This book made me laugh out loud more than a few times.
After finishing this book I came back looking for more detective Frost books and sadly this is the only one Audible carries but after doing some research I have found that there are a lot more books in the Frost series so PLEASE, please, please audible add more of his books.
"WOW!"
I know this book deals with a dark topic but that said all I can say is wow! I really liked this book. There were more than a few idintifiable characters. I especially like how much time was spent developing the character of the two girls. I especially liked Sadie as the protagonist. This book is a page turner and will not dissapoint.
"Meh..."
To sum up this book in one word... Meh. The book was fast pasted but did not move me. The language did not bother me. What 18 year old witnissing the event of her lifetime does not drop the F bomb. There was a lot of time spent building up to this final show down and it never happened. It was like he wrote the ending in one afternoon. Be sure to listen to the epilog it adds some much needed answers to the ending and should have been part of the ending. OK book, but not the block buster I had anticipated. Save for a rainy day, or if you have an extra credit you need to use up.
"Loved It!"
This was my first J.A Jance audio book and I have been to Sedona MANY times. I loved the way the author sets the scene it makes me feel like I'm back there again. The main character is identifiable to both women and men. She is strong, smart, funny and I really enjoyed listening. There is also a little forensics aspect added that makes the listener think hmmm. It's a well thought out plot with believable characters I would recomend this book to anyone.
"Edge of Evil"
Ok book, definatly not a page turner. The weird music that cuts into the story at times is because this book was first made as a book on tape. The music lets you know its the end of the tape and not the end of the story. When it was transferred to digital file the music was not edited out. Hope this helps.
"The kind of book that stays with you"
I can't give this book enough praise. It's the kind of book that stays with you well after you've finished reading it. It's the kind of (what if)that could truly happen and leaves you thinking about what you would do in this situation. It made me want do a lot of late night research on EMP's. You can easily identify with the characters and put yourself in their shoes. It made me realize just how much we take for granted in our everyday lives. Well thought out and highly entertaining.
"Origional and Intertaining."
This is the first book I have read from this author. It is fast paced and action packed from the start. It has great character depth and the narator does a good job. I can't think of anything negative to say about it and I am a picky reader. I look forward to more books from this author.
