I was a little burned out on crime novels and ran across this one. It is a treasure. I found myself laughing out loud as I drove to work and could not wait to start it up on the way home. Romance, Love, Wherewolfs, Vampires and all during Queen Victoria's time. The whole story takes the mythology to a new and very pleasant level. Enjoy the listen

Yes, the characters are real, with real problems of economics, politics, and endearments.

It brought forth the morals of the time, the difficulties and a good old fashion mystery.

I laughed, can not remember crying, but could not stop listening. You become so involved in the tale, and you just want to keep up with the characters. Therefore I listened to all of them. Great while preparing to sleep and charming to lazily spend an afternoon with.

Yes I would recommend this book. The book is funny, romantic, and full of couples working through problems to find happiness.

Each personality comes through in his reading. You visualize them in his interpretation of the words.

Read the third book in the trilogy, and listen to another of the author's books

I am not inclined to recommend many books because I like them. I have been told that I have a fondness for books that would be read by males, but this one is by far one of the best yet. It even got me going again on the Outlander series.

I just did listen to Dead Famous again. I have listened to several of Carol O'Connell's novels twice. There are so many twist and turns to these stories, you might miss some the first time. I often enjoy them again, and again.

The continuation of the mythology of Angles. If you enjoyed this book, you need to read the book entitled "Angles". This novel gives a very good history of the Mythology of the Watchers and the Shadows.

Yes. It was very hard to keep up with who were the goods guys and the bad.

Mark, the young man who is keeper of the light and guardian of the cathedral. He is such a believable and loving character.

I hope to enjoy another adventure with Jay Harper as he continues his life as a Watcher.

Mesmerizing, Intriguing and Provoking

The plot was revealed a little with each prelude to chapters, however you could not stop listening because you want to see what Mallory does next.

Ms. Rosenblat utilizes different inflections to voice each character. It is so easy to follow her work in listening to the narrative. She does an amazing job in everything she performs.

When I realized that the readings were the voice of the child that had been killed.

Mallory is one of my favorite characters. I only hope the author continues this series. I look forward to a future with more adventures. I am also going back to listen to the series from beginning to end. The stories are so good that you often miss things in only one listen.

You have to be very interested in the concepts of Forensic Science and want to understand where it comes from and the forerunners of this way of looking at criminals and their behavior. I am glad to know the names of the individuals who began this field and why.

I liked the book, but I am very interested in the history of the forensic science utilized in criminology.

If you like true crime novels, Ann Rule is the best. She developes the characters to the extent that you can see and sense them. They become your neighbors and friends. You walk with them through their difficulties and root for their success.

Made me angry. We watch weekly as crimes are solved through technology on our televison and wonder why in this narrative, the police were so incompetent.

Could not stop listening. Ann Rule draws you into the lives of these people and you just want to finish the book to see what happened.

Very difficulty to understand the reader. With his accent, it was impossible to distinguish names and you lost the thread of the story and which character was being discussed.

Fun brief stories from Harry Bosch giving us a better look at his profile and life.

Harry Bosch-because everyone is due justice with Harry.

He changes his voice and inflections with each character. You always know who is working on Harry's last nerve.
