I really enjoyed this book. Probably the best use of a credit since Tina Fey's Bossypants or Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out without Me? Smith is funny and engaging, and his stories are heartfelt. While I don't think this will help anyone succeed in any real way, I do think that Smith offers some great insights about life. Highly recommended.
There wasn't enough story to make this a worthwhile listening experience. I know it was only 5 hours, but you'd figure there would be a little more character development. Alas, there was not.
It would have been MUCH better if the narrator had not tried to use a Boston accent. It was distracting.
This is literally the only audiobook I've never finished. The plot was contrived at best, and I absolutely couldn't stand Diana during most parts of this novel. There were many instances where the author went on and on in excruciating detail about a rug or a style of architecture that really had no relevance. I wouldn't recommend this at all.
