This audiobook was sometimes slow and difficult to make it through, probably due to the great length of the book. It was however, always enjoyable. If I had bought this in print, I would have quickly rushed through it and skipped a chapter or two. FOr this reason, I felt the audioversion saved me from myself and forced me to appreciate each word. I greatly enjoyed this book and recommend it. JUST MAKE IT THROUGH!! It is worth it.

This was just awful and very disappointing. This is obviously the verbatim of an awards show and it would have been nice to have some of the boring introductions and awards left out. Each of the speakers actually read their jokes off a piece of paper. They didn't "deliver" the joke, literally read them. Listen to the sample before purchasing...but i would say skip this all together.

This book had some interesting points and case studies, many of which have been already made in similar books, such as the tipping point. The narrator lacks the skill of narrators of other audiobooks which i have read. Perhaps investing in a professional rather than one of the authors reading it would have been better. The book is written with an academic audience in mind, despite its use of plain language. The authors make grand generalizations and state them as fact. They are too confident in their analyses. There is a lot of self-glorification in this novel, to the point where it becomes irritating.

This book was filled with self-loving and self-promoting comments and opinions. Here, VOnagut wasted my time telling me about his artisian wife, doctor son, adopted children, war experiences, role as head of the humanitarians, after Issac Assimov of course. He brags about his successful family, drops names of famous "close" friends, etc... He keeps telling us what a wonderful, influential writer he is, how funny he is...I haven't found anything funny. THis reminds me of my Dad when he is on a self-righteous rant. Very disappointing, very irritating. I cannot believe i bought this. I have never read Vonnegut and now do not plan to.

If you are looking for a light, trashy read, this is it. The heroine is from one of her earlier books (four blondes, i believe). The content is comparable to reading "Cosmopolitan" or watching the OC or Melrose Place. Mira SOrvino did an amazing job in narrrating the book. A very easy book to listen to and great for traveling. It is by no means a brillant story, just an enjoyable listen.

This was somewhat useful, but only if you are completely disorganized. This is basic knowledge for anyone who works in an office or uses microsoft outlook. The author makes a few good points, but the audio book is mainly filled with repetitve examples. This book would have been more useful if it were half as long (and half the price).
