Getting arrested wasn't on werewolf Ivy Kincaid's agenda when she arrived in Nocturne Falls, but her life rarely goes according to plan. The upside of spending the night in the local lock-up is finding a hotel room is no longer a worry...but the downside is the man she's come to marry will get his first impression of her behind bars. That's not exactly the way Ivy was hoping to meet her pack's sworn enemy...aka her fiancé.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, but only to someone I know likes this type of book. It was a fun read, good characters, bad people, suspense, love, hope and a happy ending. What more could you ask in a story?

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ivy. I loved her, she was decent, she was in a tight spot, had no choice but to follow through with her father's plans - knowing she had to protect her son. My second choice would be Hank - he was honorable and upstanding. The kind of guy every girl wants to meet.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The fight scene - where Little Charlie ran into the circle and brought everyone to their knees. Not saying anymore, if you are using this review to decide to get this book I don't want to give anything away. (Just get the book!)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Well I have to go back to the fight scene again after Charlie ran into the circle; and when the moderator asked him who his father was. That was touching. :-)

    Any additional comments?

This would be an awesome TV series.

What made the experience of listening to The Old Dragon of the Mountain’s Christmas the most enjoyable?

THE EASE WITH WHICH I CAN ACTUALLY VISUALIZE THE STORY IN MY MIND. YOU FEEL FOR HIM AND EDNA. LOVED IT!

What did you like best about this story?

THE LOVE, THE HOPE, AND THE GREAT STORY-LINE.

    Which scene was your favorite?

THERE WERE SEVERAL - I LOVED THE PART WHERE EDNA FELL INTO HIS ARMS; I LOVED THE PART WHERE HER FAMILY ACCEPTED HIM. I LOVED THE PART HOW HE HELPED EDNA'S GRANDDAUGHTER AND SHE HELPED HIM.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

NOT SURE ABOUT A FILM - BUT WOULDN'T A SCI-FI SERIES BE NICE? OF COURSE SOME OF THE SEX SCENES WOULD HAVE TO BE TONED DOWN FOR THE SCREEN.

    Any additional comments?

IF I HAD TO FIND ONE THING WRONG - IT WOULD BE THAT THE STORY ENDED TOO SOON. THAT'S THE WAY I FEEL ABOUT EVERY GOOD BOOK I FIND.

He has never been successful at finding his true mate, and that failure is eating away at him and his dragon. Even his symbiot is feeling the strain as the centuries crawl by with no end to the emptiness gnawing away at them. But hope flares with the discovery of a species that is compatible with their own. Jaguin is rewarded for his help in tracking one of the Lord's stubborn females with the promise of a chance to find his own true mate on the planet Earth.

Where does Ha’ven’s Song rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The story was very good, enjoyed it greatly. So far I have listened to it 2 times.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ha’ven’s Song?

Too many to just pick one. I felt for Emma, but I felt more for Ha'ven. His struggle was epic.

Which character – as performed by P. J. Ochlan – was your favorite?

I think Ha'ven was my best character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Well I would love to say any book deserves to be listened to in one setting, but life interferes.

    Any additional comments?

The narrator was pretty intense and forceful and sometimes came across as angry, he just needs to tone it down and feel the characters more.

Welcome to Nocturne Falls - the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year. Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost's daughter, Santa Claus' niece, heir to the Winter Throne, and now...private investigator. Sort of. When she buys a sealed box at an estate sale and cat-related circumstances cause that box to be opened, life in Nocturne Falls starts to go haywire. Jayne has no choice but to figure out what she unleashed and how to recapture it.

If you could sum up Miss Frost Ices the Imp: A Nocturne Falls Mystery in three words, what would they be?

    FUNNY. MYSTERY. AWESOME!
Funny as all get out! With a touch of mystery/suspense. Including so many town characters into the story was AWESOME! Loved it - and I am so glad that Spider can still talk. That was a NICE touch Kristen!!

What other book might you compare Miss Frost Ices the Imp: A Nocturne Falls Mystery to and why?

Well the first Miss Frost book was great - so I guess I would have to list that. However, the Miss Frost stories are lighter and funnier than the other Nocturne Fall books. I am glad that Kristen Painter brought this funnier lighter side to Nocturne Falls.

What does Hollis McCarthy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Hollis does a great job as Miss Frost. Love her doing that and the main characters that surround Jayne. It was a little harder to hear Birdie, Hank, Stanhill, and a couple others when I am used to BJ Harrison doing those parts in the other books, but I overlooked it and enjoyed the job that Hollis did. Great job Hollis!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, yes and yes. I have all the Nocturne Fall books and have listened to ALL of them numerous times. Kristen cannot write them fast enough and make them available in audio form fast enough. It is just wishful thinking on my part that we use magic to clone her and get the end product her fans need. Love you Kristen!

    Any additional comments?

Still waiting for this to be made into a TV series. I quit watching TV because I didn't like the programming that is on......but I would watch this - plus I would record and watch over and over. I have so many favorite characters. Even if you didn't do a TV series, your could produce and put straight to DVD and sell. I would buy!!!!!

When she is trapped by the man who murdered both her parents and threatens to do to her what he did to her mother, Lily feels she has only one choice to avoid a fate worse than death. Reborn to help others, Lily reappears time after time to help families in need, only to die again once the families no longer need her.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, it was different. Not sure I would listen to it again. A four-some is not my cup of tea. Although the story line was a great concept.

Would you be willing to try another book from S.E. Smith? Why or why not?

Oh I always will read her books. It just happened that I really don't care for 1 woman and 3 men relationships.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I think at the end when she came back and met the first brother at the barn.

Did Lily’s Cowboys inspire you to do anything?

No, it really didn't. The storyline was great - just not my cup of tea.

Would you listen to Viper’s Defiant Mate again? Why?

Yes. I always listen to good stories more than once, twice - well many times! Especially when they have great characters, strongminded women and of course lots of funny moments. Poor Viper, but he was awarded with happiness in the end.

What did you like best about this story?

All the inter-action with the many secondary characters. Grandma Pearl is not as funny as Riley, but she rates right up there.

Which character – as performed by David Brenin – was your favorite?

Sorry - can't pick just one. David Brenin is the MAN! I could listen to him anytime anywhere - even if he was reciting the dictionary. B. J. Harrison (another narrator) is almost as good as David.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Ah, laughter mostly.

    Good Job Susan.
