Yes! The book was written as "letters", and each letter written seemed to be either about me, or someone close to me. Real, touching, and amazing.
The time period, the music, the raw emotion. The references to The Smiths 'Asleep' reminded me of going through those same experiences.
Charlie. I was just like him in school.
No one notices you, but you notice everything.
As I said, one of the best books in my collection. For anyone that remembers adolescence as anything less than perfect, this book will be incredibly relatable.
Do you remember the film PRINCESS BRIDE? It was as if I was sick in bed, and my grandfather was sitting next to me, telling me a riveting tale.
The plot, while slow at first, takes its time to grab you, then I just couldn't stop.
Finding out Tuckers Secret.
The prison mess hall with the New York reporter...awesome!
Every small town has its secrets, and will do anything to keep them.
Not sure how I found myself listening to this title, but I am ever so glad I did. highly, highly recommended!
I haven't read the print version, but the narrator was clear and interesting.
It did, however his use of quite a bit of purple prose and overly descriptive language took away from some of the suspense.
I thought his voice work was above average, and the characters were unique.
Dr. Delaware's compassion towards children. He truly cares.

I really enjoyed the intertwining romances, actually...I really wanted the couples to be together.
He actually did a great job all around with the different accents, however a full dramatization would take this to the next level.
When we lost one of the main characters...wont say who and ruin it.
Sequel please??? I really want to see where these characters end up!
It's in my top 5.
It did! Everytime I took a break I had to go back and find out what happened.
Wiley. But Phil was a great narrator overall!
Worth the purchase! I really enjoyed it!
