    I have read this book by author Jennifer L. Holm. I enjoy her works. This performance of May Amelia does not disappoint. I would recommend this performance.

    Unlike The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, I listened to this with all my kids and they just love Rob Inglis' narration of the cast of characters , he even shines in singing. Fell in love with Bilbo Baggins and had to listen again.

    Seven Wonders of Sassafras Springs was enjoyable for our whole family (6 year old, 8 year old, 12 year old, mom and dad.) The performance was great and the pace of the story was just right, it was like sitting in the room listening to a storyteller. This book inspired us to look around us for our own "wonders". I recommend this story for young and old.

    Would you listen to The Help again? Why?

    Absolutely. In fact I have. The characters seem to come alive


    What other book might you compare The Help to and why?

    This story has the unique women's perspective of history. I am currently enjoying women and girls perspective in "The Breadwinner". Also, the books of Esther and Ruth, in the Bible have interesting historical perspectives.


    Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No, but these are stellar performances.


    If you could rename The Help, what would you call it?

    As the title is chosen by the characters brought to life in the book I would not change it.


    Any additional comments?

    I enjoyed The Help and the way of life for certain women at a certain time in history.

    I love going on this journey with the characters.


    What about Jim Dale’s performance did you like?

    Jim Dales performance is outstanding. The characters come alive with his narration.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    I love when Phileas Fogg and Passepartout saves Mrs. Aouda and bring her on their journey with them.

    Our whole family enjoys listening to this story time and time again.
