  • Monster Hunter Legion: Monster Hunter, Book 4

    • UNABRIDGED (16 hrs and 35 mins)
    • By Larry Correia
    • Narrated By Oliver Wyman
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

When hunters from around the world gather in Las Vegas for a conference, a creature left over from a World War Two weapons experiment wakes up and goes on a rampage across the desert. A not-so-friendly wager between the rival companies turns into a race to see who can bag the mysterious creature first. Only there is far more to this particular case than meets the eye, and as Hunters fall prey to their worst nightmares, Owen Zastava Pitt and the staff of Monster Hunter International have to stop an ancient god from turning Sin City into a literal hell on earth.

    "Love this series"
Where does Monster Hunter Legion rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Up in the top 5 series

Have you listened to any of Oliver Wyman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Oliver Wyman is perfect for this book. This is an outstanding performance.

    Any additional comments?

I absolutely love this entire series, and the way that Larry Correia writes it. This latest addition is no exception, and is everything I had hoped for as an addition to the series.

  • Towers of Midnight: Wheel of Time, Book 13

    • UNABRIDGED (38 hrs and 24 mins)
    • By Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson
    • Narrated By Michael Kramer, Kate Reading

The Last Battle has started. The seals on the Dark One’s prison are crumbling. The Pattern itself is unraveling, and the armies of the Shadow have begun to boil out of the Blight. The sun has begun to set upon the Third Age. Perrin Aybara is now hunted by specters from his past: Whitecloaks, a slayer of wolves, and the responsibilities of leadership. All the while, an unseen foe is slowly pulling a noose tight around his neck....

Jacob says: "Doesn't wrap as nicely as Gathering Storm"
    "In for the long haul...."
If you could sum up Towers of Midnight in three words, what would they be?

    Absolutely F*!%ing Brilliant!!!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Yes. Perrin is the most like me, Mat is who I want to be like the most, and Rand is a close second, on both counts!

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

I have loved husband and wife team Michael Kramer and Kate Reading since reading the very first book of The Wheel of Time, and was extremely pleased that they were in on the last few finished by Brandon Sanderson. It is my opinion that none could do this duet better!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Wield The One Power!

    Any additional comments?

No other Epic Fantasy series, or author(s) for that matter, could put this together. I recommend this read (the entire series) to every reader I know, just because of how vast and encompassing it is. Absolutely ridiculous. You should try it, starting with Eye of The World.
