Also known as how to trick people. I'm sorry, I am open to learning new things but the book is written with no integrity and the narrator is pure torture. Don't waste your time, do something you love and tell others why you love it and believe in it. Life is too short.

Listened to the whole thing, parts were entertaining and intense, but disgustingly violent in some sections, and ... the characters were more caricatures then anything in some/most places. I got to the end and it was a lot of drama for not much payoff.

Great concepts, poor execution... should have put an extra hour in here. Through out the whole book you hear.....

UNLISTENABLE

If you have ANY interest in events, how and why they happen, and how are (mis)understanding of the forces that shape those events occur then you will LOVE this book!

What a bore. Unless you want to spend 10 chapters in a make believe English jail don't waste your time. I just feel that this would be a good short story. Revenge... who cares ... more importantly how to get revenge for this book.

I write this for my friends that love a good audible book ... and get to the point where you start skipping after 30 seconds of each chapter ... don't forget the breakthrough ... interesting things are easier to remember ...... ugh! another wasted credit!!

I love all Sci-Fi. This started out interesting. Than got and stayed boring. It finished with disappointing. Try it if you want but if you find it gets boring give it up.

I have listened to many audible books. This is one of the best reads I have heard. Now, some people don't like read by the author, but I really want to hear the meaning behind the words. If is a great listen and it you have an interest in the myth of religion it is a great was to get the information. It is great to hear this information again (ie. Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins) juet in case you have a talk with a rational person.

I just found this hypnosis tape to be so well done and easy to listen to. I am always looking for ways to improve my mental functioning and I just feel that the positive messages and influences imbeded in this recording are doing just that. I think it is worth I try, I have spent a lot more on simple books of memory tricks that didn't really make a qualitative difference. I would try it.

This book is a completely enthralling review of the history of ideas and its impact on history and on us. Another one of those books you cant stop listening to. It is read by the author and don?t be thrown by the British accent. It actually adds to the book, especially when you see the intelligence of the mind that is speaking. This is definitely a dont miss. I how that you enjoy it!
