"5 kids love"
My children ages 3 -11 ask to listen every time we get in the car. Makes the long car ride fun. It scared them and they loved it :)
"My heart"
Wow! All the 5 star reviews are dead on. If you can't handle detailed stories about child abuse do not get this one. However if you can.... This story is AMAZING! My heart actually ached for Gemma at times, no kidding I had cheast pains. Great story and amazing reader.
"Soooo Good!!"
I know I shouldn't let my daughter listen... but she loved Jacks voice (she is five and has a brother named Jack). I caught her listening while I was doing the dishes and I didn't realize it. I don't think she understands the whole story... but it is kinda nice to hear her ask questions. Anytime I listen she is in there with me. There was a few bits I turned off and said we will listen later... then listened when I knew I was alone. Anyways... amazing book!!! And the little guy could be annoying if you are not used to kids... but I have three under five so what is one more little voice in the house. Jack fits right in.
"My kids liked it"
We have read this book a hundred times, made art projects, and now they have there own little audible collection.
"Want More!!!"
I love this book and they way it was written. I love the characters... and I love Jenna who read it. However I did not like the way it was ended... clever yes... I just needed MORE!!! That is the only reason for not giving it five stars.
"Keeps me cleaning"
Like many people say on other sites this won't win an award for best writing.... however it does keep you interested if you like the character Zoey. It took me all the way to the second part of the story to get used to the new narrator. I hated her at first... now she is growing on me. Not much to say except I like it enough I will finish the series.
