I really am a fan of autobiographies..especially on audio books. I love the journey from nothing to everything. I am NOT an Arnold fan. I really am not into body building or body builders...nor am I am action flick person or a republican. I think I have only seen Kindergarten Cop and Twins of his movies. But, I just thought he would have an interesting story...and I was right. Its his journey from post war Austria,...to body building..and how he translated that into a successful movie career. His marriage to Maria, a Kennedy..to his political career. He really is a fabulous business man...very savvy. He was a millionaire by 22 and he made that from real estate. Its a nice long book....I listen while I am walking and driving. Great book.
I read The Husbands Secret ...after it being reviewed in People Magazine. I loved it and then came to look for her other books. I didn't love the concept of this book when I read the preview...but, I really loved it. Loved it as much as The Husbands Secret. So, much so I immediately downloaded the next one, The Hypnotist.
It was a very thought prevoking book... great story...interesting concept. Loved the characters, the humor, the emotion. Highly recommend!
Well, first I will say I love Dr Phil. I quote him often. Yes, he went on and on about this book on his show, so it worked and I brought it. But, I have only listened to about the first 45 mins to an hour... I agree with other reviewers that he has just spent all that time telling me what he is going to tell me and how important it is. I got so bored and lost patience waiting for him to get to the content, that I gave up. I still have it in my library...but, it's been months and I still can't motivate myself to go back to it because of the slow start. if I had had the paper version, it would have been easier to see how long it was and how to skip all that.
