  • Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story

    • UNABRIDGED (23 hrs and 26 mins)
    • By Arnold Schwarzenegger
    • Narrated By Stephen Lang, Arnold Schwarzenegger
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Chronicling his embodiment of the American Dream, Total Recall covers Schwarzenegger's high-stakes journey to the United States, from creating the international bodybuilding industry out of the sands of Venice Beach, to breathing life into cinema's most iconic characters, and becoming one of the leading political figures of our time. Proud of his accomplishments and honest about his regrets, Schwarzenegger spares nothing in sharing his amazing story.

    "Love it..!"

I really am a fan of autobiographies..especially on audio books. I love the journey from nothing to everything. I am NOT an Arnold fan. I really am not into body building or body builders...nor am I am action flick person or a republican. I think I have only seen Kindergarten Cop and Twins of his movies. But, I just thought he would have an interesting story...and I was right. Its his journey from post war Austria, body building..and how he translated that into a successful movie career. His marriage to Maria, a his political career. He really is a fabulous business man...very savvy. He was a millionaire by 22 and he made that from real estate. Its a nice long book....I listen while I am walking and driving. Great book.

  • What Alice Forgot

    • UNABRIDGED (13 hrs and 32 mins)
    • By Liane Moriarty
    • Narrated By Tamara Lovatt-Smith

What would happen if you were visited by your younger self, and got a chance for a do-over?Alice Love is twenty-nine years old, madly in love with her husband, and pregnant with their first child. So imagine her surprise when, after a fall, she comes to on the floor of a gym (a gym! she HATES the gym!) and discovers that she's actually thirty-nine, has three children, and is in the midst of an acrimonious divorce.

    Yvonne says: "Loved..."

I read The Husbands Secret ...after it being reviewed in People Magazine. I loved it and then came to look for her other books. I didn't love the concept of this book when I read the preview...but, I really loved it. Loved it as much as The Husbands Secret. So, much so I immediately downloaded the next one, The Hypnotist.
It was a very thought prevoking book... great story...interesting concept. Loved the characters, the humor, the emotion. Highly recommend!

  • Dr. Phil McGraw: Life Code

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 49 mins)
    • By Phil McGraw
    • Narrated By Phil McGraw
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

The rules for living in the real world have changed, because the world we live in has changed. Much of the conventional wisdom the last generation has passed on just doesn't apply like it once did. If you want to win, and win big, and, more importantly, keep what you work so hard for, you need a crystal-clear view of how the real world works - not how you wish it worked, but how it actually works.

christy says: "Read it, so don't mention it anymore Dr. Phil..."
"Way to long to get started!"

Well, first I will say I love Dr Phil. I quote him often. Yes, he went on and on about this book on his show, so it worked and I brought it. But, I have only listened to about the first 45 mins to an hour... I agree with other reviewers that he has just spent all that time telling me what he is going to tell me and how important it is. I got so bored and lost patience waiting for him to get to the content, that I gave up. I still have it in my library...but, it's been months and I still can't motivate myself to go back to it because of the slow start. if I had had the paper version, it would have been easier to see how long it was and how to skip all that.
