I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Tim Curry. He did an outstanding job reading this novel. I can appreciate how far seeing Jules Verne was during his time.

One of the best-known stories in American culture, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has stirred the imagination of young and old alike for over 100 years. Best Actress nominee Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married, Alice In Wonderland), fresh from filming The Dark Knight Rises, lent her voice to this uniquely American fairy tale.

I was worried about the narration on this book, but I thought that Ms. Hathaway did a great job with it. It was a good story, I wanted to hear the book behind the movie. I thought it was pretty good, but it may have been more of a children's book.

Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

What made the experience of listening to Doctor Sleep the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed Will Patton's style and the story was back to Stephen King's original style. It was so good, that sometimes I sat in my driveway so I could hear the last of a chapter. I was very disappointed when it ended.
