Since 1990, when Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time® burst on the world with its first book, The Eye of the World, listeners have been anticipating the final scenes of this extraordinary saga, which has sold over 40 million copies in over 32 languages. When Robert Jordan died in 2007, all feared that these concluding scenes would never be written. But working from notes and partials left by Jordan, established fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson stepped in to complete the masterwork.

Would you recommend A Memory of Light to your friends? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book to someone who had already read the rest of the series. It's nice to listen to at bedtime--I would also recommend it to insomniacs.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ?

Nope. Kramer did okay, but Reading was not enjoyable to hear.

    Any additional comments?

I'm glad this series is over. I'm glad someone read it to me while I did other things. To be fair, I'm not a fan of fighting/war scenes, and this was one long battle.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

A good friend gifted me with this book and my first audiobook subscription. I was skeptical of the whole thing and slow to even try it. I hadn't heard of the author or the book, in spite of being an avid gamer and geek myself.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this - what's the audial equivalent of "page-turner?" - and have already recommended it to several people.

    Any additional comments?

Having Wil Wheaton as the reader took a great book to the next level, with several meta moments, as Wil and Star Trek are both referenced in the book. A great introduction to the joys of Audible, and what it has to offer that reading to myself can't match.

Would you listen to Jhereg again? Why?

I don't listen to audio books more than once. I also don't often read books more than once. I've read this book and knew my husband would like it, so we listened to it together. He was blown away and I found myself enjoying a story I already knew.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jhereg?

The voice acting is superb, especially the psionic whisperings of Vlad's sidekick, Loiosh.

What does Bernard Setaro Clark bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Clark's reading is everything you want it to be--well-paced, distinctive voicings without overacting, unobtrusive and yet layered with appropriate cadence and nuance.

    Don't miss this!
