Tall, dark and eligible? That’s all that matters to the women of Jacobsville when it comes to handsome and aloof FBI agent Jon Blackhawk. But if it were up to him, he would never settle down. Luckily, Jon has the best gatekeeper: his efficient and reliable assistant, Joceline Perry. Without her help, he’d be at the mercy of husband hunters — but the more he comes to rely on her, the more he notices how invaluable she really is....

I love alot of Diana Palmer's books but this one was slow. The story was just dumb. And a 30 year old cowboy virgin Oh come on Diana what where you thinking when you wrote this one. There was no real romance or even good sex in the story line. I'm really worried I have to listen to another one of her books I downloaded i it's as bad as this one I may stop listening to her books all together.

Some say love can be an addiction. Others say it's the thing that makes life worth living. Let me tell you everything I know about love...Love isn't patient, love isn't kind. Love is a game, a chase. A thrill. Love is wild and war-like, and every man and woman must fight for themselves. At least that's how it was for me. A high-priced virgin call girl by the time I started college, I was addicted to love and to sex. Even though I've never had either. I controlled love, played it, and held the world in the palm of my hands.

This is one of the worst books I have tried to listen to inn some time. It seemed like all they did was think out loud and nothing really going on between the couple besides thinking. And having some kind of sex addiction when you don't even have sex, or touching was nuts. You get a couple parts were you think it will lead up to a real moment of sex and nope it does not happen. Nothing in this book really makes you feel any kind of connection at all. I was so tired of listening to all the people thinking to themselves and not really talking to each other it drove me crazy. I could fast forward and not really miss anything. You couldn't pay me to listen to this book again. Don’t waste your money or credit on it. I'm sorry I did.

The day of a young woman's wedding should be the happiest day of her life, but for Aylen Ware, it is the worst. Raised from a young age in a secret splinter sect of the Fundamentalist Mormon Church, Aylen has spent her life suppressing her true self and living in constant fear of violence and abuse. The Elders of the Church claim that she has been chosen to be the eighteenth bride of a man three times her age and renowned for his cruelty, but Aylen has other ideas.

I really like the first book but who picked this narrator made a big mistake. But even the book was boring. I had to fast forward just to try and get through the book. I hate it when they have a series and then change the reader. I don't know if I want to download book 3 since I was so disappointed in book 2.

I can't believe that people like to listen to such degrading things. I find nothing loving or romantic in this book. Just full of degrading sex acts.. I like a lot of the erotic books but I couldn't finish this book it was just too many sick things being done to the Sub.The D/S stuff I don't care for. But I have listened to some that have been OK. But this one went way to far in the sick things that she had her sub do.

I thought this would have some good romance and excitement in it but it was way too slow for me. A kiss here and there. And a few dramas that helped the book. But not what I’m use to. I bought all three books and wish now I would have been smart and listened to book one first. As I don’t think I will get into the other 2 if they are as slow and boring as the first book. But some people like just a slow moving well predicable story. If so, this one may be for you.

I liked the book and listened to it in one sitting. But I hate when a book just ends and leaves you guessing. “Oh crap” Is there another book to this one? And then find out that there are 3 books. But why can't audible get all the books so we can get them all. Or at least let a person know that this is book 1 of 3. By the time audible gets book 2 and 3 I will have forgotten book 1. That's one down fall about listening to book that you have no idea that it’s only book 1 of 3. I will have to buy and read book 2 and 3 since I know audible won't get them for a long time if at all. But all in all I liked the 1st book. I read reviews on book 2 and they were not good. The reviews on book 3 seem to be a lot better. I guess I will have to wait and see once I read the 2nd and 3rd book for myself. I wish audible would somehow find a way to let people know that the book they are downloading is 1 of 3 books in a series. I will however read another book by Abbi to see if I liked it as much as book one. Book 2 is Never too far and book 3 is Forever Too Far.

I liked my western romance books with more romance and more sex and a bit more action. To make it seem real. The couple parts in the book were so low I didn't even realize they were making love. But all in all it was a nice romance book.

The wild plains and mountains threaten attacks by savage Indians and gold-seeking white men who pose a threat for any woman alone. This was the slowest book and the worst reader I have listened to in a long time. I couldn't finish it. I tried to go back to it but I just couldn't do it. The book sounds OK but maybe if you read it. But then I don't think even that would make it a romance western. I like westerns with romance but I'm not sure what this one was. Save your credit.

I love most of Lora Leigh books but this one was way to out there in the sex. Don't get me wrong I like the wild parts but this one was just too much. And the plot was to hard to understand. I did listen to the whole book. I had to fast forward through some of the sex senses as it as a bit over the top. I think this needs to have a little more romance and use better words. It works in some of her books but this one just was a bit much. I will listen to the next one if there is one.
