"Skinny Dip"
I listen to my audible books while I commute to work. This one I could not stop listening to. This is the first book I actually listend to out of the car. I just couldn't get enough. The characters were great and the story was most entertaining.
"Good bye Womens Murder Club"
Had I realized that Carolyn McCormick was not reading this book. I never would have purchased it. This reader is one of the worst. Everyone sounds the same. I did no finish it.
Anger that I wasted a credit on this book.
If you have listened to the previous books read by Carolyn McCormick, you will be disappointed.
"Inspiring"
Inspiational,Sincere and Honest
TRue an heartfelt.
As a PD patiaent it gave me hope and comfort.
Having just been diaginosed with Parkinson's Disease, I was looking for some first hand information. I knew that MJ Foxx had started a foundation but until I read this book I did not know the amount of commitment he had put into finding a cure for PD. I think anyone with or without PD will be inspired by his story in this book and his first book: Lucky Man
"Could hardly get past the narration"
I almost stopped listening to this book because Susie Breck's narration was terrible. Luckily Dick Hill did a good part as the male narrator and the story was interesting enough to let me finish. That said there were parts of thte story that were just too far fetched. A police officer with a bullet wound that kept bleeding everytime she moved would hardly be allowed on active duty. For $4.95 special price it was ok but I won't waste credits on t he next books in hte series.
"Spellbinding- A True life Thriller"
This is a must read for anyone with a brokerage account or 401K. If you think the Security Exchange Commission is protecting you, think again. It also enforces the reality that if someone is promising investmet returns that seem to good to be true, thye probably are.
"A Great Series"
This is the final book in the series and it was fantastic! The reader did all of the unique character voices and they were "spot on" from one book the the next.
You don't havve to be a kid to enjoy Percy Jackson and his friends.
"Good Bye James Patterson"
James Patterson has jumped the shark with this one. Sadly it will be my last Alex Cross novel. The plot was preposterous and there were serious continuity problems in the story line. Several years ago I gave up on Patricia Cornwell for the same reason. When an author pumps out a crappy novel just because he or she knows the fans will buy anything that is when it is time to let it go.
Goodbye James, it was fun while it lasted!
"King is Back"
I used to read everything by King but have been dissapointed in the last few year with stories like the Colorado Kid and the Cell(which was the Stand in modern times)
Duma Key is like the older King novels that I used to love. John Slattery the reader brings these characters to life. I will be searching audible for some of the other books he reads.
"A True Sucess Story"
I watched the casino "reality" show and did not believe it. I wanted to know the real story and this book gave me that and more. It is a true sucess story but it is also a story about friendship.
Good narator.
"ABSOLUTELY FACINATING!"
This book is one of the best books I have listened to in years. Learn what is being done in the world of alternative energy and renewable fuel. Learn why and how we must reduce our dependence on foreign oil and fossil fuels.
If you are concerned with the high price of gas, heating fuel and other present day forms of energy I encourage you to read this book. It is loaded with hard facts and scientific evidence that lay out the reasons why we must reduce carbon emissions. I found it fascinating to discover all of the alternative energy sources that are being worked on and look forward to seeing some of these become a reality in the future.
Until I listened to this book I had never heard of the Cap and Trade proposal for carbon emissions but by the time I finished the book I realized its importance and was e-mailing my Senators to support this leglisation.
"Good Listen"
I enjoyed this book. I love Las Vegas and stories set in the city, even if some of the locations were fiction.
I liked the character and narrator and will check out his other two books
