King's Cross is Timothy Keller's revelatory look at the life of Christ as told in the Gospel of Mark. There have been many biographies of Jesus, but few will be as anticipated as one by Keller, the man Newsweek calls "a C. S. Lewis for the 21st century." In it, Keller shows how the story of Jesus is at once cosmic, historical, and personal, calling each of us to look anew at our relationship with God. Like Keller's other books it has tremendous crossover appeal, but it is also ideal for the faithful.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If he believes in Susbtitutionary sacrifice. But CS Lewis did not believe in that theory. And this book abounds in that direction, very boring trying to convince with extravagant arguments but very unbiblical.

What was most disappointing about Timothy Keller’s story?

I thought I was going to hear more about CS Lewis theory on the perfect penitent. But instead is a detriment of that biblical an excellent approach.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The two first chapters about God's love and necessity of love. Also I did like the way it explains the connections with The Chronicles of Narnia.

What else would you have wanted to know about Timothy Keller’s life?

Studies degrees and how he applies his knowledge to ministry.

    Any additional comments?

Tell him to write about The Perfect Penitent.

The Passion of Love goes beyond the physical suffering and explores the deeper spiritual significance of Christ's sacrifice. You'll not only understand more about the intricacies of Jesus' suffering, but you will also learn of a greater suffering that no insult, no lash, no nail could ever inflict.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No. I thought I would find a deeper story about the merits of Jesus. The title suggests it.

What was most disappointing about Ellen G. White’s story?

She is repeating information written in the Bible without any understanding of the cultural value. There are no implications based on a good hermeneutics.

Have you listened to any of Eddie Hernandez’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not that i remember. But I dis like his tone of voice and speed.

Do you think The Passion of Love needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I wouldn't mind to buy any Helen White book.

    Any additional comments?

There are a bunch of better authors than her.
