    This is good book not just for Nikki Sixx fans but for everyone. He makes you open your eyes and see that we should find beauty in everything not just what is considered beautiful by the media. He released some of his own inner demons and in the process encourages you to do the same thing. If you read the Heroin Diaries then listen to this book you can really hear how much his life has changed, how he went from being a junkie to happy man and it encourages you to work at making your life happier. This book takes you on a journey of finding beauty within yourself so you can be happier.

    Would you try another book from Deborah Harkness and/or Jennifer Ikeda?

    No. The book was so slow and I found it tedious. I bought the book based soley on the reviews of the book and the narrator and I have no idea why so everyone loves it so much. I found it boring.


    Would you ever listen to anything by Deborah Harkness again?

    Probably not

    That was excellent!


    What was one of the most memorable moments of This Side of the Grave?

    The intimate scene in this book scorched my ears.


    What does Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Tavia Gilbert is a genius narrator. She truly is a wonderful actress and gives each character a distinct voice. I typically don't like female narrators because they can't do a mans voice. I completely forgot this was just one narrator and became so engrossed in the story that I frequently jumped and yelled in reaction to the suspense.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Definitely!

    It is a very good story made even better by the Tavia. Every audible book should be read by her. Tavia has ruined me for other narrators!
