Loved this as well as the first in the series, Soulless. Emily Gray is an excellent actress and has wonderful voices (especially ones with Scottish accents). Witty dialogue, engaging characters, and an interesting story line make this book a fun read.
Enjoyed the first episode BUT annoyed that the book was released in three separate segments instead of just one. We have to pay more money this way. Episode 1 was good enough that I bought episodes 2&3 as soon as I finished the first. This was a mistake. Episode 2 became tedious with way too many "monsters" and deadly events. I also wanted more details as to what was happening back in the US. Have started Episode 3 but won't finish it. It lacks the promise of #1 and isn't worth my time.
Good story but missed the usual interplay and continued development of the series' characters. The dynamic between the regulars is what makes this series so special. Susan Eriksen is terrific as always.
This book is for those who don't prepare all their food from scratch. Read this along with Pandora's Lunchbox. Together both detail what is wrong with our food today and help us understand the obesity crisis.
Starts out promising but doesn't really end. There are a number of unresolved issues. The characters need further development. The beginning was engaging and enjoyable but by the end the book was flat.
This is an extremely informative book. I found it so useful that I've given several copies to friends. I got a great deal out of the book in audio format but probably would have done better with a physical book. At least I would have know how to spell the unfamiliar elements in today's processed foods. I spent a lot of time on the internet learning more about what goes in to today's food. It is horrifying!
The characters are unbelievable and poorly developed. The crimes and their execution are even less realistic. The actress does a good job but can't save this book.
The story sounded like fun. Unfortunately the book was boring. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
Had hoped to like this but it didn't hold my interest. It was boring.
The story was pretty good. Unfortunately the narrator mostly read the book instead of enhancing it with good acting. It was very hard to finish.
While not quite as good as the first two in the series (Soulless and Changeless), it still is a fun book. The only fault is in the production. For some reason the engineers have lengthened the dead space between chapters and this is very annoying.
