What made the experience of listening to Loving the most enjoyable?

Good performer who was able to make each character stand out.

What did you like best about this story?

    Tying up loose ends.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes, and done well.

If you could take any character from Loving out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Bailey's mom. She's just full of wisdom and I want her to adopt me (even if I am in my 30's).

    Any additional comments?

I've seen reveiws where people were disapointed. Maybe that prepped me to be ready for something different than I was expecting. However, I feel maturity is being able to move from 1 chapter in life to the next. I enjoyed this last book in the series very much.

Lizzy Tucker’s once normal life as a pastry chef in Salem, Massachusetts, turns upside down as she battles both sinister forces and an inconvenient attraction to her unnaturally talented but off-limits partner, Diesel. When Harvard University English professor and dyed-in-the-wool romantic Gilbert Reedy is mysteriously murdered and thrown off his fourth-floor balcony, Lizzy and Diesel take up his 20-year quest for the Luxuria Stone, an ancient relic believed by some to be infused with the power of lust.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I had read the 1st one and was excited to get the 2nd one. The audible version sucked me in and had me laughing out loud. The author really can weave a fun, fast-paced story.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Really, you know it's all going to work out in the end, but it keeps you on your toes thinking, "Wow, what next!"

    Which scene was your favorite?

Gosh, I couldn't name just one. It's a fun read though. Hmmmm.....The dare to sleep naked, maybe Glow's spells on Hatchett, Anarchy with fire. Nope, can't pick just one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, but I did take just a couple of days and listened to the book on my travels.

Would you listen to Clifford's Christmas again? Why?

The audible versions of Clifford are awesome. They hook the kids in with the music and narrator.

What other book might you compare Clifford's Christmas to and why?

All the other Clifford books. They are light heartened, enjoyable, and my kids ask to listen to them over and over.

Have you listened to any of Stephanie D'Abruzzo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes, very good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Well, it's only 3-4 minutes, so we listen to it all and sometimes twice.

    Any additional comments?

If it keeps my 3 now 4 year old twins in bed and quiet, you can't go wrong.

A freelance programmer, she works at home designing sophisticated security systems.

Would you listen to The Witness again? Why?

Absolutely. Like many of us Nora Roberts readers out there, we are looking for an escape from reality for a bit into a world where good prevails over evil.

For me, this was a good fun read that made me cheer for the characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Witness?

When she decides to put down roots.

What does Julia Whelan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

There are some audiobooks that have horrid narrators, thus I can't get into the book. Julia is NOT one of those. She was able to help me picture the characters, places, and events clearly in my mind as if I were reading the book. Not everyone can do that.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The courage to stand up to those who have wronged us. Also the ability to not just write others off and to keep probing.

If you could sum up Courageous in three words, what would they be?

    Christian, change, thrilling.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Courageous?

    Adam's awakening to change.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Nathan's dinner date with his daughter.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Adam's life changing moment with Emily, dealing with his son's struggles. These are things that could happen to any one of us.

    Any additional comments?

I have not seen the movie, so when I saw the audiobook online I jumped at it. I loved it! I literally would turn off the t.v. or drive longer to listen to this book.

This book makes me cherish my kids more and want to be a better parent.
