Steve Jobs is the first biography I have listened to on audiobooks. I think this is the best way to experience Steve Jobs. The reader is excellent and the story is riveting. Many of the anecdotes have been passed around almost as urban legend, but in this book you get all the details and the context of the anecdotes which lends an authenticity to the oft-heard legends. This book is a must read for any entrepreneur, technologist, Apple fan, and student of the human condition.
This story is told with complete honesty - showing both the greatness and the weakness of Steve Jobs in both his personal life and his business life.
I have not listened to Dylan Baker's other performances but I rate this one as excellent.
I couldn't possibly have listened to this book in one sitting - it's much too large. Plus I wanted to savor it over several days. I reserve about 1-2 hours per day (during my commute) to listen to it and it has transformed my commute times. I always arrive at work invigorated by what I have heard.
Now I want to listen to Walter Isaacson's other biographies!
