Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unlikely partnership. In exchange for help finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner…are there actually good vampires?

    "great series!"
    Overall

Well written & great narrator, this audiobook got me sucked into buying all the books in this series plus the 2 side novels (first drop of crimson & eternal kiss of darkness). I found it hard to hit the pause or only listen to them in my car. Now I have to wait for the next book in the series to be published in 8/2011. Well worth the credits.

When Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store owner with a kind heart and two young children; and another with her plainspoken single neighbor, Jo. Despite her reservations, Katie begins to let down her guard, putting down roots in the close-knit community..

Ruth Adamson says: "Not Nicholas Sparks best, but ok"
    "Easy listen"
    Overall

This was my 1st Audiobook. Sparks wrote this well, good story line (reminded me of the movie sleeping with the enemy) but a different twist at the end. The narrator did a good job, but haven't listened to others as this was my 1st.
