    The writing and narration are very good. The occasional transparent jabs at the Bush Administration are a bit strange for historical works, but, the writers are myopic journalists and not historians. It is still a good listen.

    I can't listen to this book without going to sleep. This assembly of short stories doesn't interest me. I just can't get interested in Indian culture. Next time I will pay more attention to descriptions and reviews.

    If you are looking for a book that you just can't stop listening to, this is not the one. The author starts with a silly premise, and compounds this error by mixing his politics with the story. Suspending disbelief, as is normal with fantasy/sci-fi, is really hard to do. Save your money and time for a different series and a different author.Whatever I paid for this book was too much.

    Audible owes us all refunds on this book for not being upfront with a notice of the homosexual content.

    With the suicede of my gay son 4 years ago I don't seek out literature that will make me remember his pain, nor his mother's and my pain.

    I am deeply disappointed with Audlble. We had no book jacket with which to evaluate our purchase.
