Dr. Melanie Lipton is no stranger to the supernatural. She knows immortals better than they know themselves, right down to their stubborn little genes. So although a handsome rogue immortal seems suspicious to her colleagues, Sebastien Newcombe intrigues Melanie. His history is checkered, his scars are impressive, and his ideas are daring. But it's not his ideas that have Melanie fighting off surges of desire.... Bastien is used to being the bad guy. In fact, he can't remember the last time he had an ally he could trust. But Melanie is different....

I was so glad to have the third installment, loved each and every book so far but you need to listen to them in order to keep up with the story line and each of their adventures.

Sabstien is handsome, misunderstood Immortal who's still brooding on delusions from decades past which has led him to be the most disliked Immortal and is alienated by his fellow Guardians, and that of course just makes us like and root for him - the hurting underdog - all the more. This book contains an action packed storyline that's full of suspense, intrigue, passion and humour.

If you liked Lords of The Underworld and/or The Black Dagger Brotherhood you will definately like these.

Rigg is well trained at keeping secrets. Only his father knows the truth about Rigg’s strange talent for seeing the paths of people’s pasts. But when his father dies, Rigg is stunned to learn just how many secrets Father had kept from him - secrets about Rigg’s own past, his identity, and his destiny. And when Rigg discovers that he has the power not only to see the past, but also to change it, his future suddenly becomes anything but certain.

The story is good, I'm still interested in finishing the first book and then the second, but the constanct changing of the narrator for the same character makes the listening not so fun. If it had been read by Stefan Rudnicki throughout the entire books I would have been much happier, or Scott Brick but not both and definately not the others. All in all I will finish them because I actually like the story.

I have listened to every one of these in the series and loved everyone but this one. Since I am not a homosexual I'm sure that could be why. The black dagger brotherhood is about a league of superhuman vampires that kick demon butt, and find love along the way, no problem with that, but this book was nothing but two men having sex most of the time, or brooding about not being able to have sex with each other. I was glad when it was over, I hope that more books will come out so that I can listen to or read how the King kicks Scores butt and gets his kingdom on the right path. Plus we now have a new Vamp in the mix and he is falling for a human.

J.R. I'm not going to give up on this series, but I do hope you don't write another one like this one.

I'm new to Scyfi books, I like the paranormal but I wanted to branch out and really get into something with a great story line. Adventure, love and this book gave it all to me. I can say that I got very frustrated at times with the capture and escape so many times by the heroin's, but all in all it was so worth it. The Narrator was awesome, his many voices made the listening outstanding, I would listen to Tim G. Reynolds over and over again.

Ethan Wate used to think of Gatlin, the small Southern town he had always called home, as a place where nothing ever changed. Then he met mysterious newcomer Lena Duchannes, who revealed a secret world that had been hidden in plain sight all along. A Gatlin that harbored ancient secrets beneath its moss-covered oaks and cracked sidewalks.

Kevin you gave an awesome performance narrating and the sound effects made this one of the best books I've listen to ever on audible. But I beg you not to see the movie because you will come out of it so disappointed, the movie butchered the book and did not give it justice at all. I'm just about finished with Beautiful Redemption and am trying to get my daughter and my grand girls to listen to this. Looking forward to more books from you both.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

The mystery in itself hasn't even gotten to a good start, but the characters are so real and the way they cut up with each other is great, I love a book that makes me laugh and then makes me scared and then makes me want to rip Oscars head off. The narrator is great, he has the ability to change from one character to another with such smoothness and he has thier personalities down pat. I have never read Peter Clines before, but will do so again and again if any other books from him entertain me like this one.

The endings are still a little abrupt but they end with the fact that the story will pick up where it left off in the next book. It gets a little mushy silly in the love and sex department but it has a good story and I can't wait for the next one. I like the fact that it has so much humor and comradery.

A clandestine race of half-dragon, half-humans known as dragon-shifters lives among us. Bastian, leader of the Nightfury dragon clan, is sworn to protect humankind at all costs. For him, honor and duty always come first. When the clan dictates he take a human mate to sire a son, he falters, aware that for a human to birth a dragon-shifter she must die. Myst, the woman given into his care, is the most extraordinary he’s ever met, and though he can’t bear the thought of harming her, he is bound by duty.

I like the story, it's a little rushed, moved from meeting to love in an instant. I was disappointed at the abrupt ending but the story was smooth and lead right into the next book. Will definitely keep reading until there are no more.
