Alamo, because the ship's personality grew throughout the story; and it seems it will continue to grow in upcoming books.

Outstanding narrator. Mr. Boyett brings life to the characters in such a way that I can easily vision the action, tension and celebration of success.

I congratulate Mr. Larson not only for his story; but his continued effort in pushing his story- writing into the mainstream. Those who have closed a door to his publication attempts have obviously lost an understanding of what the market wants in a good story! Thank you Amazon for opening up avenues for those like Mr. Larson!

Remember when your parents told their friends stories late at night around the kitchen table? I remember listening; hanging on every word, able to see the story unfold because the story was great and the story teller simply put some much passion into telling. Ms. Roberts truly has develop such an experience and the Ms. Whelan ensures that you too will hang on every word. If you're looking for an excellent read; this is your book. Wonderful!!!!

The story is great. It's like "Gone with the Wind." It has laughter, sadness, and struggle. I enjoyed reading about the journey of May and Pearl. The author writes the story in such a way that the reader is with May and Pearl throughout their life. I recommend it!

Yes, you will be tempted to check this one as NO and why did I download. But, stay with it! You will find a wonderful story teller talking about a great adventure of hope, love and just a great story. I give it four stars only because of the slow start. You'll enjoy!

This is by-far one of the best accounts of the last 60 years in American government. If you've every wonder why americans seem to be on the lower end of the food-chain in Europe, well this story will bring an interesting view for you to think about. This is a must reading for american voters. It clearly reveals a running dog, and who did not keep it on a chain. After, reading this, you will be able to better determine who not to put into our Government. Again, it is the best.

I've read the series and must say the best is in the first two books. A surprise in Sci Fi in that I didn't expect finding a wonderful love story. The story sees it way through three great stories which are filled with adventure. I would recommend the series as fun reading for the summer.

I think the old master has returned. Yes, this is better than his last and approaches to the level of his novel entitled "Lines and Shadows." The story is a must read!

This is a wonderful listen! The authors have done a nice job in presenting history thru story telling. It reminds me of cold winter nights when my Grandfather would meet his fellow farmers at the local general store. They would surrond themselves around a coal burning stove and tell stories late into the eveing. Those stories are rooted in my mind because of they way they were told. You'll find the same when you listen to "A Patriot's History of the United States."

If you are looking for a great listen that combines an excellent story with an outstanding story teller, then look no more. Ms. Reed is by far one of the best readers yet! Her talents combined with Ms. Gardner is . . . well I like to think of it, "when the clouds part and the stars are just right." You will not be disappointed with this selection because Ms. Gardner is one of the best authors of the times. Ms. Reed is, again, an outstanding story teller. Thank you both for one of the best works that I've had the pleasure to listen to in a long time!

This is a sleeper, meaning if you don't move through the first couple chapters, you'll miss one of the best stories yet. You'll enjoy it.
