"Interesting take on future society"
Knife fight
The most interesting part of the book was how Assimov created different societies on the same planet. Most sci-fi books have the occupants of an alien world as one grand unified society, whereas Assimov makes Trantor more like Earth. Several different "sectors", basically countries, with different beliefs, values, ethnic traits, etc.
"Dated, but very imaginative"
The culmination of the original Foundation series was imaginative and had an ending that was interesting.
It was never clear to me why the first foundation found the second foundation to be a threat. Didn't both of them believe in Harry Seldon's plan?
