Would you consider the audio edition of Written in My Own Heart's Blood to be better than the print version?

Probably since the narrator is so good. I have not read the print version of this book, I have read the print version of some of the others in the series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Written in My Own Heart's Blood?

The events in the Church yard with Clare

Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She is the voice of the series. I can not see anyone else reading this.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It did all that and more. I laughed out loud and cried and had to put it down a few times to let it soak in, before starting again.

    Any additional comments?

I am wondering HOW the series on Starz will compare to these books?????

What did you like best about Lover at Last? What did you like least?

I liked the narrator Jim Frangione but the story line, I did not care for and if it continues I will not be buying anymore of the BDB series. I have loved this series but not this story line!

What could J. R. Ward have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Change the story line back towards the beginning of the series! Not so dark.

What three words best describe Jim Frangione’s voice?

    masculine, sexy, calm

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

NO, I would not go see this movie. I should not have bought the book.

Would you listen to No Easy Day again? Why?

Yes, I enjoyed the story of how a man became a Seal .

    Any additional comments?

This is now just about killing Bin Laden, it is more a story of a solider who happened to be with the group that killed a very bad man.
I really like to listen to Holter Granham.

Would you try another book from Kerrelyn Sparks and/or P. J. Ochlan?

I would buy another Sparks book, but not the Narrator.

What did you like best about this story?

Great follow up on a good series, but the Narrator was terrible

How could the performance have been better?

No feelling for the characters he just read them. He was not in touch with "The Love Doctor" character from other books in the series.

So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

It was one of Eve Dallas’s earliest takedowns, back in her uniform days. A monster named Isaac McQueen had been abducting young victims and leaving them scarred in both mind and body. Thanks to Eve, he wound up where he belonged, removed from civilized society in Rikers. But he’s not behind bars anymore. After his escape, McQueen has two things in mind. One is to take up where he left off, preying on the young and innocent - when necessary, with the help of a female partner all too willing to be manipulated and to aid and abet his crimes.
