WOW! I just love the intertwining that Duvall writes. Her growth from book to book is AWESOME! Never losing sight of prior characters introducing new characters - FABULOUS!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ami - she is strong, she is fearless - she is weak, she is afraid - she is HUMAN! so giving of herself.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her take on the voices - the quips, emotion just spot one. you can HEAR the body language - that's how GOOD she is!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Wanting more just wanting more - Zach? Cousins? Seth? So many more books to go in the series - SO EXCITED!!

I very good story with many hard choices and truths...really not as sizzling as others in the genre but well satisfied with a good story. Ready for the next book - till then will be re-listening to this one - wait I already have guess I'll listen for a third TIME ;)

The complications - characters from other books part of this book - closure for some feels - that was nice very nice.

His male voices are HOT! Female voices are just fine especially when he has to do aloof - he does aloof WELL!

a GREAT human story line - no superman here just life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Diaz - full of mystery - character not explained but enough detail to give the reader the imagination to run

What about Joyce Bean’s performance did you like?

As usual great voices for characters - pauses work well, modulation and emotion spot on.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some loose ends I would have liked better tie up a little more closure. But the main characters and the ending was very VERY STRONG.

GRRM is the best fisherman ever! Just enough of each character leaving you wanting more - then on to the next character answering questions and giving you more questions!

Lord of the Rings - but I did not "listen" to the books, so the comparison is not fair.

What other book might you compare Night Reigns to and why?

Darkness Dawns, Blood Born - genre mostly and also a good second book to Darkness Dawns - I really enjoy the character development and not forgetting Roland and Sarah in this series.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When she reads you can just "see" the expression the tone and modulation is spot on. The take on the accents is something I wouldn't experience.

Up at the top I enjoy the genre and like the twist and turns.

But of course SARAH! Why ask Why? She is level headed, brave, smart and prone to violent tendencies - "I like her...."

No I haven't until now - but I will be looking for her NAME now. I love how she gives life to each character and her take on the quips AWESOME!

laughed out loud - deep thoughts - hot romance - and building of other characters make you antsy for the next book highlighting them.
