The authority of the Syndicate Worlds’ government is crumbling. Civil war and rebellion are breaking out in many star systems, despite the Syndic government’s brutal attempts to suppress disorder. Midway is one of those star systems, and leaders there must decide whether to remain loyal to the old order or fight for something new.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Lost Stars: Tarnished Knight to be better than the print version?

    yes

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

the story jumped from person to person and got off the space ships. a real change up from the lost fleet books. giving a lot of fresh air

What about Marc Vietor’s performance did you like?

he was straight with his voice not giving any personality to the performance but made ever one stand out in there own way. its hard to do but bravo for pulling it off

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

no but provide a lot of setup for the other books down the line

    Any additional comments?

read lost fleet first if you haven't
    already

Tim and his friends find out the hard way that you shouldn't question the game master, and you shouldn't make fun of his cape. One minute, they're drinking away the dreariness of their lives, escaping into a fantasy game and laughing their asses off. The next minute, they're in a horse-drawn cart surrounded by soldiers pointing crossbows at them.

What did you like best about Critical Failures? What did you like least?

i liked that i was D&D gamer flavor and humor. i liked least was the narrator and repetitive stereo type characters. it was fun over all but if your not a gamer then this book will really get on your nerves quick. half the characters get put in the background to favor only a few so everyone's development gets hampered to a degree. for what it is id recommend it.

Would you recommend Critical Failures to your friends? Why or why not?

no they don't like reading fiction.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Jonathan Sleep?

    maybe

Could you see Critical Failures being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

no it would change to much.

Our favorite white trash zombie, Angel Crawford, has enough problems of her own, what with dealing with her alcoholic, deadbeat dad, issues with her not-quite boyfriend, the zombie mafia, industrial espionage, and evil corporations. Oh, and it’s raining, and won’t let up. But things get even crazier when a zombie movie starts filming in town, and Angel begins to suspect that it’s not just the plot of the movie that's rotten. Soon she's fighting her way through mud, blood, bullets, and intrigue, even as zombies, both real and fake, prowl the streets.
