"only one story"
There was only ONE storie in the 33 minuets downloaded. Its titled 3 storied and the discription talks about some poker guy, but its just one 33 minuet story about a guy who takes a mullholond dive. LAME WHERE ARE THE OTHER TWO!!!!!!!
"Weed and the beach"
I liked that a good book that is critically acclaimed about pot heads on a beach exists. You can tell the guy who wrote it is mixing in his own worldly experiences with his love of weed and interesting stories. I liked this book, and the way he tells it, you can almost tell when he is referencing his own life. Ending was kind of freaky but surprises are always fun. The reader does a good job with all the characters and accents and does not have any annoying habits, I recommend this book and audio book to anyone, stoner or not. Oh ya it was interesting to read a book written by a British person, instead of saying he ways 170 lbs, for example, he says 11 stone! Haha. It is neat to see how other people view Americans. Too bad there were no Americans living on the beach, but there were some in the book playing a key role. Just don’t waist your time with the movie till you have read/listened to the book.
"Adventure not Mystery"
I don’t understand what so many of these people are so mad about, unlike the first book witch takes Odd throughout the town and has a mystery style to it. This book is more of a rollercoaster style adventure, its awesome, its different from the first because instead of being a mystery it is an adventure, and let me say it is a great adventure I really loved this book, I could not put it down because you have to see what is going to happen next. Ending is worth debating as well, but you will have to read it in order to talk about it. Enjoy. Also the reader does a great job, the voice of Detura will haunt my dreams for some time.
"Lived up to the Bosch standards"
Yes, i like to re read knowing the ending.
His dumb supervisor.
The riot crime scene
What he did when the shots were fired at the riot crime scene. Shows Boschs passion.
Really enjoyed this book, as I always do the Bosch novels. Ended rather abruptly but it was a hard case to solve so I’m glad there were not any last few pages twists. The reader is new to the series, and also to audio books in general I think, but he did a fine job, “Haters gona hate”, don’t let these other guys whining about the reader bother you. Good book, good story, good reader. An up to the Bosch standards book.
"Profesional Reader would have been better"
SK did an ok job reading, he did not do voices for Rolend and the Ka-Tet, but he did do voices, some not bad, for the storys within the stories. Over all his preformance was amature, and next time i hope he uses a profesional. The story was good, i realy likes the story with in the story within the story, no doubt the best story, the other two were good, and i found the concept of a "Stark Blast" interestingly creepy. A good addition to the DT series, and i hope he does more.
"A great ride"
This was one heck of a story, the ups downs twists turns, it was honestly one of my favorite SK books and i have read too many of them. I think SK has matured as a writer, there were no long descriptions of meaningless things, just the awesome story of a guy out of time. My favorite SK book since drwwing of the three for sure. I recomend it to anyone, SK fan or new to him, or just ANYONE!!! Great read.
"Good conclusion"
Yes, i like to go back for a different interpretation of events
That he covered all the bases, and those he did not he makes clear they will be for other books.
Rorin giveing it to King Orin
Oh ya
Chris did a great job. I think people are mad because their a bunch of winy babies who wanted thing to go the way THEY wanted, not the way that logicaly needed to happen. If an auther wrights just to please the readers and not to fulfill his storie then thats the real dissapointment. Chris did a great job and i love the ending. Some stories are not ment to go on forever, even if the charicters are.
