"More mindless fun! Answers lots of questions!"
Love the narrator, but her male voices are comical. Was very satisfying to see the story arc
Anastasia getting in Mrs Robinson's face
love her
See...?? Christian is not as f**ked up as you thought
To all those who hated the book and/or narration, please; get over your bad selves. This is a mindless summer read for goodness sake, not Proust. Agreed, you could start a new drinking game based on the limited vocabulary; take a shot every time Becca Battoe says " oh my", "hooded eyes", "prickling scalp", or "my sex". EVERY person I know who has read this book has seen significant "fringe benefits".
"Buy the book and READ it"
no one would enjoy listening to this book
its a great story to read, but it comes across very poorly in audio
material doesnt lend itself to the medium
boredom
the material in the written word works very well; buy the book and READ it
"First time that Terry Gross' "Fresh Air" wrong!"
no
no
not his fault the material sucked
just really a poor book for audio; i should have known better
"running out of steam, but wraps up loose ends"
love Becca's Ana voice; her Christian is pretty lame
Ana
really, no favs from this book compared to the first two. The best is really the last chapter where we see their very first meeting from Greys POV
no
as a 50 year old gynecologist, i though i had a pretty good idea what women wanted; i guess i was wrong!
"Very much fun, but totally mindless"
Anastasia falling for Christian and then the last 17 mins of the book.
helps to develop the "inner dialogue" device
yes

"Its ABRIDGED! Buy the book if want the whole story"
To all the reviewers complaining about the short shrift the New Testament gets, I say read the dead tree version for the full story. Overall worth one credit, but I could do with less talk about the author's OCD routines and issues.
"Laura has a voice for writing"
the content was good but Laura's delivery is so distracting that i would not download anything by her again.
"20 hour ad for HBS, and three great companies"
Personal stories were interesting; I am now a huge Marla, Chris, and Marc fan.
Has motivated me to apply to business school. Would be nice if the narrators could agree on how to pronounce Chris' last name!
