Athena Hera Sinistra never wanted to go to space. Never wanted see the eerie glow of the Powerpods. Never wanted to visit Circum Terra. Never had any interest in finding out the truth about the DarkShips. You always get what you dont ask for. Which must have been why she woke up in the dark of shipnight, within the greater night of space in her father's space cruiser, knowing that there was a stranger in her room.

I absolutally loved it. Lots of excitement, action/adventure and I loved the ending - the story concluded well - though I could see where it was going ahead of time, there was still a surprise at the end that really made it moving (which I didn't see coming). I'm not going to say anymore on the end, so I don't spoil it. This book is for anyone who loves scifi's and adventure (and of course romance). It's something I would listen to again.

I quite enjoyed it. Loved the transition between Cat and Woman and the two different thinking processes and speech patterns. Very nice.

Very nice. Both books one and two were fantastic. Loved the storyline, action, was drawn right into it and couldn't stop listening. Was actually annoyed I didn't have the book so I could read faster than it was being read, but the different voices were done quite well by the reader. Loved it. Will buy the books if I ever see them in the book store, despite having it on audio. Is a story I could easily listen to again and again. Lets have it for the scifi romances (there aren't many of them).

Before her court-martial, Captain Chasidah Chaz Bergren was the pride of the Sixth Fleet. Now she's a fugitive from the justice of a corrupt Empire. Along with her lover, the former monk, mercenary, and telepath Gabriel Ross Sullivan, Chaz hoped to leave the past light-years behind - until the news of her brother Thad's arrest and upcoming execution for treason. Its a ploy by Sully's cousin Hayden Burke to force them out of hiding, and it works.

I absolutally loved it. Lots of action, spunky characters, loved the way it ended. I'd listen to it again.

Mikhail Dubrinsky is the prince of his people, the Carpathians. But they are dying out, falling prey to vampires or are choosing the soulless life. Mikhail is no longer sure he can bear the bleak future laid before him. The only thing that can add light to his life, can relieve his terrible loneliness, is to find a life mate. But he has given up believing one exists. He vents his centuries-old despair in an anguished cry that fills the waning night. And then, incredibly, a life-saving voice answers him.

    Overall

Not a bad read, but events seemed to happen a little too fast (simple storyline) and her responses weren't always believable (as sometimes the main male really needed to be belted over the head or something - she was too instantly forgiving - needed to show more anger/spirit) There is also a great deal of talking between them (a little 'too' much) which could have been replaced with more bonding events together with action or something. Talking is good, but I felt as though I was constantly listening to them talk talk talk, then sex. More action and a greater plot with less talking, would have made it perfect. (Some talking does have its place though)
