Tim offers strategies and concepts of how to perceive how work can be a vehicle to live the life you want, not a chore to keep you busy until you fianlly retire. Fascinating detail and options are laid out; ideas unlike any other entrepreneur-advice book I've read.
His delivery is direct, supremely confident and almost has a slight tinge of irritation, as if he knows many people listening will remain skeptical and not even try one of his suggestions. And some suggestions will appeal more to people who aren't "a people person" as he literally removes most direct human contact to streamline his day. Delegation and filtering of input is a master skill of Tim's.
The one downside: his decision to verbalize the URLs of his resources at the end of chapters. Certainly not a reason not to buy this though.
When you hear about virtual assistants, and ways to perceive monthly income, and the creation of expert status (among many others) you will be prompted to take your own steps. I've tapped into VAs within a week of reading the book - baby steps removing some chores from my list, leveraging my time. I am designing the next level already.
AS he says, these ideas are for people who want to own a business not run a business. With his concepts you are not going to build a giant corporation to sell later, or create a massive social change entity. You are going to learn how to fund your life and have way more time left over to concentrate on bigger issues that matter more profoundly to you.
As a very novice yoga practitioner, I enjoyed the deeper concepts about how to use yoga as a means to connect with inner blockages - mental and spiritual. While having tried yoga initially with a physical strengthening motivation, this lecture provided a lot more to think about than just a bunch of challenging stretches and positions.
Note- it is a recording of a live lecture with an audience, the audio quality is fine but not super-polished studio quality.
If you have just been doing yoga for exercise, this will provide a lot more for you to consider .
