"Somewhat disappointed"
Great build up for an unbelievable ending. Just didn't ring true. Too contrived.
"Not my cup of ?tea?"
This book was recommended to me by a friend who also loves Sookie Stackhouse. This series is not for me. I couldn't bring myself to care about the characters. This is also a series and you can tell that each book is going to be about a different character from this book. I just didn't care enough about them to want to read more. Sorry.
"Somewhat disappointed"
I love these books and was waiting as patiently as possible for this one to be released. It was a good story, but it is a transition book. Nothing too exciting happening and no great love scenes. I was left wanting more and soon!
"A little too predictable."
Nice listen for the car ride, but a little predictable.
"Awesome book!"
I enjoyed this book. It was recommended to me by a 6th grade reading teacher and thought I need a mindless read. I was mistaken. Very clever plot though it is a little on the dark side.
"Great sequel!"
I wasn't sure that The Hunger Games needed a sequel, boy was I surprised. I didn't expect the direction this book took. Now, I learned there is to be a third book. I can hardly wait.
"Made me laugh and made me want to cry."
I loved this book. The characters were real. We all have some one like Hilly in our life (unless you are the Hilly) and some one like Minnie, who some how manages to gain the upper hand on the bully. I couldn't wait for the the drive to and from work so I could see what all the character were up too! I can't wait for Ms. Stockett's next book!
"Worth the wait"
It was well worth the wait for another Dan Brown novel featuring Robert Langdon. This time he takes you into the unseen secrets of Washington, DC. I liked the twists and turns that keep you hanging. Good "read".
"Typical Patterson"
If you like James Patterson's Alex Cross, you'll like this book. The only thing new is Alex is in Africa.
"Must read?"
I heard this was a must read for the summer, and I was disappointed. The ending was so manufactured that it ruined the entire story.
