This is one of the worst books that I have listened to. There are incredible errors in the storyline. One minute the characters are doing an act in a certain way and then there is a sentence change and the characters have changed the way again. There are parts of the book that seem like they have been taken from other authors books.
I am listening to it just to see where the storyline goes next.
I was very disappointed in this book. I was expecting some new Carl Webster stories and instead I am hearing shorter versions of three other books that I already own.
The narrator is not as fitting as the narrator on the original books. If Mr. Leonard wanted to put out this book he should have used his original narrator or just cut in snippets from the original books
I was sucked when I read the synopsis thinking this would be a good historical fiction only to discover that this is a historical romance novel.
This book is one of Grisham's best works. It puts lives to the people in many of his books. There are tales of how the characters lives affected their families. The tales made me laugh and cry and all of those emotions made all of the tales so real.
The best part was hear Mr. Grisham narrate.
This book is a copy of the movie not the book. The actual book was a truly suspenceful book. This book even changes who the bad guy is like the movie did,
This is very interesting book however there is huge mistake in a fact that needs to be amended. The Saugus Iron Works is in Massachusetts not Michigan as stated by the narrator. While listening to this there are similarities in the facts between Atlas Shrugged and this book.
It made wonder if the lives of the characters were the basis of the book?
There is also some embelishment of Carneigie's charity. It is rumored that the only reason the charities were started was because he did not want the goverment to get any of his money.
