Sookie is funny and down to earth that she is almost scary. One minute she is a stereo type blonde, the next minute she could be a scholar. She is just funny to be around.

Any of the IN DEATH books, this is as good as the first, 2nd, 3rd. Just because she can still keep our attention after so many of the future crime books.

I just love Roark.

One of them, a Chicago Homicide cop named Tom Mankowski, has had one of these strange tattoos since birth. When he investigates a violent murder and discovers the victim also has a tattooed number, it sets the ball rolling for an adventure of historic proportions. To say more would give away too much.
