This was recommended to me by my daughter who has the books. She was excited for me to get them on audio as we were taking a little trip. I could only find this in abridged version. Although it was rather enjoyable, she said so much was left out that was character development, she didn't even enjoy it. If I had not known a little about the book prior, this would have been the one and only "number" book I would have read. I plan to actually READ the first three or four books before I purchase any more of the abridged versions. I don't recommend the abridged versions AT ALL. Save your credits until Audible comes out with the Unabridged Version of these titles.

What a great story this author has given us and of coure, Lorelei King's narration is always perfect. I loved this book and look forward to more from this author!

I just completed all three of the Nice Girls books. I stumbled across this author and decided to give her and this series a try. I was surprised how much I thoroughly enjoyed it. The writing was amusing and the narrator was a pleasure. If you are looking for a book to read for total enjoyment, these are the books for you! Loved them all.

I have been a Dean Koontz fan for more years than I can count. I had been disappointed in some of his newer stuff, and preperred to re-read his older stories.
Finally! Here is a new one that was suspensful, great storyline and the dialog was believable. However, in some places in the story, I did get a little confused but was able to catch up quickly.

I felt this was Vintage Koontz and it was very enjoyable. I may read it again next week!

This was the first James Lee Burke book I have read. I am now starting to read all of the Dave books.
Dave is flawed and works with a flawed Clete, which makes them very realistic. They are both "everyday" heros and the novel was so well written and suspenseful, that I was unable to stop listening because I couldn't wait to see what happened!

At first, I thought the narrator was a little hard to understand but as the book went along, I realized his narration helped make the book.

What a great read and I am looking forward to more Dave Robicheaux novels.

I thought The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was excellent and was not disappointed with this book. The narrator was wonderful and the story was completely entralling. I had problem with the names (Swedish) but that was minor.
I hope he writes more with these characters! I want more of his stories!

I usually enjoy Nora Roberts but I felt this story dragged and focused on the relationship of the main characters more than what you knew was going to happen eventually. When it did happen, it was not a surprise and the ending was anti-climatic.
I was disappointed in a story I thought would be very enjoyable.

I tried..I really did. The narration was dull, several times the same paragraph was re-read.
There were so many characters I couldn't keep them all straight and the dialog went on and on. Thank goodness I got this at the $5.95 special price!

I loved this story and this book! The names were hard to keep track of, (for me), since they were unfamiliar...but I thought the narration was good and the story was remarkable.
I can't wait to read the next book!
