The narrator's speed was inconsistent, at times I could hardly keep up she talked so fast (especially with the main character) and other times it was perfect. I confess I had to 'rewind' numerous times because I would get lost if I blinked, and apparently I blink a lot.
I loved the favorite 'blue jeans' part
Humm, I am having trouble choosing.
Grab your popcorn
Fun, light and entertaining
I liked the family dynamic and banter
I hope to see more in this series.
The author does a very good job, it's well written, plenty of twists and turns and side plots to keep you interested. This is a favorite series and I hate finishing it because now I have to wait for the next installment...
This is a true cozy with no foul language or compromising situations. I thought the characters were realistic and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder
A true cozy. The book is clean and has a good pace to it. I liked the characters and am excited for the next installment.
Madelyn, she's full of calm and reason.
No bathroom breaks.
I enjoyed this book but you have to pay close attention because of all the characters, it's easy to lose track of them.
It wasn't a bad story but it did not flow at all which made it difficult to follow as well as frustrating at times.
The story is interesting & I wanted to continue listening but it was a little vivid for my taste.
I downloaded this to listen to while cleaning. It's was easy to follow & turned out to be my favorite of the series so far. I liked getting to know some additional characters while not 'leaving town' to do it. This book gives us some insight into Tom which, up to now, had been lacking.
No, the narration is poor. Between the speed of the talking and lack of tonal change between characters I found it very difficult to follow. Tried to finish this book several times but I just can't get through it.
