This book is extensively researched, well written and well read. I have never been very interested in history books, but this book ties history to biology. It's one of those very rare well written science books. It provides a lot of hard information sprinkled with enough politics and economics to make a great story.
Parts of this book were so beautifully written that I had to listen to them repeatedly. Couple this with the research on Africa and the rich characters and you have a fantastic book.
The author has an exceptional ability to explain the concepts of physics without sinking into endless buzzwords and mathematical detail.
