"Crazy"
I truly enjoyed this novel. After suffering a three teir breakdown (mental, emotional, and phyisical). It was a very informitive viewpoint. Since I was not able to walk in my loved ones shoes as I went through my personal hell. This novel gave me a true understanding what it was like for them and how they went through their own hell as I questioned my sanity. I hope thoes who have not had to experiance this topic first hand listen to this book to better understand what life is like for thoes whom breakdown.
"Someone needs to get a cloo....."
The Story was fast paced and had amazing potential..... But the narrator drove me away :(
I am sorry but I could not make it that far.....
poor at best; like other female narrators her attempts of voice differential was below sub-par. Had someone like Mr. Brick been chosen I most likely would not have only finished the novel but would have listened multiple times & would have given it a much higher rating.
no.....
I was able to make it over half the way through War & Peace roughly 43 and change hours of it before I have up. I could not make it past 4hours and 44min due to the narrator. I am truly bummed!
"Where is our John Gault"
The individuals ability to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds.
John Gault w/out question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scott knocked this out of the park as usual.
"Only if"
This would have been a good novel if it were not trasded by the Tree hugging end.
"All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed, and Me"
This is an enjoyable novel about Jeff's life & all the interesting happenings during it. The novel also takes you through the creation of his "little guys". Since it is red bu Jeff he deffently adds his personal touch & of course the guys add their two cents each along the way. This book is a good listen for the whole family.
"Ancestor"
This novel starts off rather slow as you are introduced to one of the main characters is going through a psychotic episode; only to find herself as an iatrical part of a research team. I have listened to the other two titles available by Scott Sigler and found that this novel was more sedate in comparison the pace was ¾ of the others. Over all I did enjoy this novel as well; it is filled with intrigue and kept me interested.
"About TIME!"
It is about time someone compaired the world to the muslim world. I understand that not ALL muslims are terrorist. However, you do not see the throngs of outcry when one of the psychos goes off either. Until I see thoes throngs of outcry I cannot & will not beleave islam is a religon of love & peace. The western worlds need for a PC life will be its downfall.
"If only......"
I wish I had instructors as lucid & brave as Prof. Sowell. His ability to bring hot button subjects to a level of discourse never brought before is unequaled.
"You will not learn this in school......."
That statement is not true if Prof. Sowell is your instructor. This is a novel that really gets one to think. One must really listen to what is said & not. This novel is written with love & pain. Many will knock this novel and refuse to listen; please do not be one of them.
"Uncle O's Best work"
Even if you only like sci-fi a bit this title is a must listen. A great beginning; to arguably the best series. Even though the topic is about children this story is for all ages.
"Thank Goodness there is a movie"
I have been waiting for this book to come out on audio. However, I found the story lacking. The narrator rambles on & on; not to mention a need to jump around, which causes the tempo to move along as if it suffers from tremors.
