Not as good as the first novels, but still pretty good. I do hope there are more.

I have read every Clive Cussler book I could geat my hands on and never have I cared less about what was going to happen next. Things just happened to all of the characters; there was no mystery they figured out; there was no plot to double cross or trap the bad guy. They were followed and had no clue. The bad guys just showed up in a nearly random fashion and eventually self destructed. It was all too coincindental and boring.

I listened to the first 1/3 (5 hours) of the book and still had not found a common thread between any of the players. I enjoyed each little story, but was not interested in what happened next. This is the first book I have not completed and maybe I'll come back to it, but for now, I'm moving on to something else.

I like mysteries and I like to try to put the pieces together, but this book had no clues. I just had to go along for the ride and wait until they told me stuff. Nothing was ever figured out by anyone. I do like the concept, but The Chopin Manuscript was much better.

This short story made me sad when it ended. I was laughing out loud while walking my dog. The description of events made me think I was there. I recommend it to everyone.

This is such a cute story! Worth all 146 pennies I paid for it.

I didn't think this book would ever end. There was nothing to figure out, all the plot was revealed during conversations often with random people met totally by chance. Bourne was stupid and didn't out flank anyone in this one, just sailed along as people told him stuff. The Americans only worried about their careers fighting between agencies and didn't even know there was a terrorist attack planned. Bourne bounced around working for first one group then another, sometimes two at a time? People trying to kill him for no reason except thier own careers. One agency hires random people off the street with no training? Don't waste your money or time.

I don't think PC even wrote this one. Even the medical details were wrong. What doctor starts CPR only to stop a minute later? What did the story have to do with the title? There was no mystery to slove, no clues left laying around, all details of the murders were wraped up in a couple of paragraphs. It was all subplots and didn't have a plot.
I have loved PC's books. They have fueled my interest in forensics, but this one was a waste of my time. I've never given another book a rating this low before.

There were no puzzle peices to put together in this one. Things just happened to Sean and Michelle and they reacted. Never learned who shot at Sean in the beginning or why. One 'bad guy' was trusted until that person tried to kill Sean and Sean never suspected anything. They never solved anything or even came up with any theories, just found things or things were explained to them.

As always King/Bachman is able to develop characters in a way that makes me think about them long after the story is over. I really came to like Blaze but don't want to say more here without giving away the ending.
