Abby Cooper, the FBI's newest civilian profiler, is adding "spy" to her resume. The military's digital photography software that captures one's aura - just like Abby can - sits in a drone aircraft that's been stolen. It's a major breach in security, as every country's leader can be identified by their aura.... Abby springs into action to stop the criminals before they set their diabolical plan into motion, while making herself a prime target.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

    As a stand-alone book. No.

Would you ever listen to anything by Victoria Laurie again?

    Yes!

What does Elizabeth Michaels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    The characters come to life.

Could you see Vision Impossible being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Yes! But NOT the CIA part. Keep it simple. The Psychic eye part and MAYBE the FBI job.

    Any additional comments?

This series has always been just real enough to be possible, but this last installment was too unrealistic and far-fetched. I'd like to go back to the Psychic eye or even the FBI job, but the CIA? Really?

Ninth in the series, Undead and Unfinished finds Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor slogging her way through the Book of the Dead. When Lucifer offers to give up all the book’s secrets, Betsy is intrigued. But there’s a catch, of course. For her part of the bargain, Betsy must take her half-sister, Laura, to Hell, so Laura can develop an appreciation for her dark heritage.

I have been a huge fan of this series and then I read this latest installment and found myself confused and disappointed. Was the author attempting to meet a deadline or fulfull a contract? Because this book was poorly written and felt "thrown together" and the plot was...well there was no plot it was a just a bunch of ideas strung together and then it just ended in the worst possible way. The only good thing about this book was learning more about Sinclair and Tina, but the entire "future" portion of the book was horrible and the end just ticked me off. I don't know if I even want to read this author anymore I'm so let down.

Once I got past the terrible accent of the reader, I became hooked on this book so much that I stayed up all night listening and got up early the next day to listen to more. The most disappointing thing about it is that it's the only book by this author available. The characters were left open enough to allow for a sequel, so I hope the author has plans to write more. Well worth the money!
