Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

    "Nice Action"
    Overall

I enjoyed this book. So much so that I am now listening to the second book. The Hunger Games had a lot of good action scenes. I also like the evil government and am hopeful for an uprising.

Before he was considered a CIA superagent, before he was thought of as a terrorists worst nightmare, and before he was both loathed and admired by the politicians on Capitol Hill, Mitch Rapp was a gifted college athlete without a care in the world . . . and then tragedy struck.

    Lesley says: "Flynn never disappoints"
"Hooked on the Mitch Rapp Series"
    Overall

I am now hooked on the Mitch Rapp series. I really enjoyed this audio book and story. So much so that I have started ready the entire Mitch Rapp series. I wish more of the Mitch Rapp books were UNABRIDGED.

Katniss Everdeen continues to struggle to protect herself and her family from the Capitol in this second novel from the best-selling Hunger Games trilogy.

    FanB14 says: "Dissent Rules"
    "Good sequel"
    Overall

Catching Fire was a pretty good sequel to The Hunger Games. I was hoping for an uprising but got more of the same. If you liked the first book you will like this book because they are very similar.
