I've been listening to books for twelve years. I love to read but never could find enoough time just to sit. Audio opened a whole new world for me. I love it! I love Sci-Fi and Fantasy and an occasional mystery. The iphone is a great delivery tool for me. Listening to books may not be for everyone, but it is an awesome alterative for me. Everyone should give it a try!

Buffeted by the loss of his family, Grainer struggles to make sense of this strange new world. Once presided over by a flamboyant Hollywood mogul during the Roaring ’20s, the magnificent West Coast property known as Roseland is now home to a reclusive billionaire financier and his faithful servants. And, for the moment, it’s also a port in the storm for Odd Thomas and his traveling companion, the inscrutably charming Annamaria. In the wake of Odd’s most recent clash with lethal adversaries, the opulent manor’s comforts should be welcome. But there’s far more to Roseland than meets even the extraordinary eye of Odd, who soon suspects it may be more hell than haven.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

You must read the last book before finishing with this one. Koontz applies his witty humor in this story as well. I love the fry cook’s character and his never-ending curiosity, which drags him deeper into this Sci-Fi thriller. It’s the end for the world if he doesn’t figure out what’s going on. You won’t be able to stop listening!

Druid Atticus O’Sullivan hasn’t stayed alive for more than two millennia without a fair bit of Celtic cunning. So when vengeful thunder gods come Norse by Southwest looking for payback, Atticus, with a little help from the Navajo trickster god Coyote, lets them think that they’ve chopped up his body in the Arizona desert. But the mischievous Coyote is not above a little sleight of paw, and Atticus soon finds that he’s been duped into battling bloodthirsty desert shape-shifters called skinwalkers.

Would you consider the audio edition of Tricked to be better than the print version?

    Absolutely!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tricked?

The witty human between him and his dog.

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He does a great job of portraying each character. I couldn't image anyone esle reading this book to me. Luke Daniel does it prefect!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Everything you want is in this book. I don't think I ever wanted to cry. The main character looks at life with so much irony. When he gets in over his head he can still find humor.

    Any additional comments?

Every book in this series was just great. I loved the story, the characters, and most of all I loved the reader!
