The story had nothing to do with the Dark Tower other than a mention, a little this and that , then a short story named The Wind Through The Keyhole. After there is a 45 min add for his next book.

As far as the characters go, I think the tiger was the best , laid back and taking it easy, just making the most of the hole in the cage. That was the hidden agenda of this book wasn't it?

King is a great voice for his work, as the writer he understands the story but his age shows thru in this one. Still I always enjoy his stories more when he reads them.

The Keyhole was a good listen but the first part and the last could have been cut, this should have been 7hrs not 10

I think there might have been a contract that needed to be filled and this short story was streeeeched to fill it. It could have stood on its' own, as I said about 7hrs worth. This is not one I would spend another credit for, if I wanted an add I could watch T.V.

Yes,This is a good book, but it is the same story with the same people as Patriots,it's just an in depth back ground on some of the people. I think Rawles may have needed some fast money or had a contract to fill fast. There is nothing new in this book. It would be a great novel if he had taken the two books and put them in the same covers.

As I said it should have been put with Patriots and written like Steven King does, you know real long, in detail so you know the smell of the dust on the lamp,then it would have been a great novel not just a story.

I am not sure how the story is, I could only listen to 12 min before I wanted to throw the ipod across the room, just to get this never changing voice out of my ear. I am sure Isabella Smith must be able to do a fine job reading or she would not be doing it. But I guess this had to be the first take and no time to do it over or edit. One voice for all parts. Of over 400 books I have listened to, this is the first one I have left a remark on, it was that bad of a listen. Not the story but the run on sentience. Maybe it is better just to read this book for yourself.

Having read the Bible for many years, hearing it in story form is a great pleasure. I find this book to be a great comfort at night as I go to sleep the stories easy to listen to over and over again. A great way to learn the Bible and a great entertainment for those just looking for good stories.

If I were to choose the most moving story I have read , listened to or seen on film, I have to say The Shack has touched me more than all the rest. This book has so moved me that truely, I would give up all my other books to keep this one.
