Lady Alexia Maccon, soulless, is at it again, only this time the trouble is not her fault. When a mad ghost threatens the queen, Alexia is on the case, following a trail that leads her deep into her husband's past. Top that off with a sister who has joined the suffragette movement (shocking!), Madame Lefoux's latest mechanical invention, and a plague of zombie porcupines and Alexia barely has time to remember she happens to be eight months pregnant. It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

What made the experience of listening to Notorious Nineteen the most enjoyable?

Great story and characters that made me laugh out loud

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Ranger, always

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Great as always. If she ever stops being the narrator for the Stephanie Plum Novels. I will stop listening. No narrator can make these books as enjoyable as they are.

Who was the most memorable character of Notorious Nineteen and why?

Briggs, He is such a stinker

    Any additional comments?

This is a fun series, I have been listening to a lot of Connelly, Coulter and Lee Child which are also great books. I needed a break from all the serious stuff, and this was perfect.
