No I don't think so. Of course I don't like watching movies over and over again either. Once was enough. I've absorbed it and I've moved on.

I think the book could have been set up better. It took a while to understand that all they saw was black and white and things I took for granted like colors and feelings were lacking in the characters. i still don't understand the reason for only 1 person being a giver and I don't understand the ending. did they make it? what happened to the people? It just cut off. I was really getting into it and then it was over.

I still love the narrator! He really brings the characters to life. There is more character development - the author keeps giving you different sides about characters you are already in love with. The story picks up right where it left off with the last book and goes strong throughout all the parts so far.

with this book, the author did try to catch people up on what's happened in the previous books a bit at the beginning - which is new. it's not bad at all and really doesn't take away from the book, but I was so looking forward to the next and the next and the next things that happen that it was like "yeah, yeah... i was there.. c'mon...". And sometimes he fixates on some small details for a little too long for my taste, but Patience is not one of my virtues! lol

I liked that they used the same narrator, kept the flow of the characters the same, had the same tempo as the other books. etc. It was just like the first 2 books never left off really. This book is by far bigger, but so much happens and you really don't feel like the book drones at all or that the author is just adding pages for the sake of adding pages.

I'm really torn. I want to know how everything wraps up, but don't want this series to end. I can definately see this turning into a franchise like the D&D books have - everyone has so much life and back story to tell!

I really liked the wedding... Or maybe the fight in HellGrind... though I really like the trial of the 2 swords too...

I've never read the print verison, but I would consider the audio version of this series to be leagues of many others I've purchased from Audible! The story is gripping, the narration is fantastic, and the writer did a fantastic job with character development and plot. I am actually kicking myself for not finding this series so much sooner!

hmmm... maybe the Dungeons and Dragons - Dragons of Autumn Twililght? But I've never heard them, only read the print version.

After going this far in the series, I am a true blue fan of his! heck, he could read me the newpaper and I'd be enthralled!

Again... if you have not experienced this series I strongly encurage you to do so. It will not disappoint! The story gets a little slow once he gets to the elves, but come on...let's face it... elves are like cats - haughty and indignant. Not much to liven things up with a race that lives forever. :-)

I loved, loved, loved the narrator! He did an expemplary job of voice fluxuations, tempo, and character changes. I am very much a D&D fan and this is very close to the original Tanis books I'm used to. Very easy to get lost in the narration and wound up in the story! Definately a must "read"!

He was fantastic! 1 - I loved his English accent! It really lended that little something to the characters to really teleport you into the story. 2- He can narrate all the characters so well, there's no questioning who's talking when. 3 - his pace and tempo are spot on! you can really feel what the characters are feeling through him.

Well there was a film made about this book and I am sorely disappointed in the producers! It does not give this book it's due.

I look far and wide for books I can get lost in and THIS definately is one to "read"! I am also in the middle of the 3rd in the series and I can tell you that there is excellent continutity between books. If you get this, you'll definately be in the market for the others!!

It was like a Butterfly Effect/Groudnhogs day type of book. in fact she mentions both in the story!

This was unexpectedly a great book. I'd never heard anything from Lauren Oliver or Sarah Drew and was immediately drawn into the story. Not being from the popular group in high school, it was interesting to get such an insight. As she keeps reliving the day, she sees how her actions have ripple effects. It demonstrates how everyone's actions make a difference whether you are popular, goth, geek, or outcast.

The narration was really good. At times the voices for the friends ran together as they all "spoke" with a lazy, whiney cadence. Sarah Drew did a great job distinguishing everyone though and the way she narrated the internal struggle with Sam was top notch.

I like dystopian books like Divergent, The Giver, and Legend. Lauren Oliver has such a way with her story-telling that you are immediately drawn in and it keeps you going the whole way. The characters are very developed and you can put yourself in the story very easily with her wording.

Lena obviously, but she does such a fantastic job with her narrations. She keeps the voices of the different characters throughout the book and adds excellent inflection. I don't know if I would have enjoyed the book as much as I did without her!

it was! Stupid work getting in the way! lol I actually listened to it on teh way to work, while doing busy work, on the commute home, while waiting during the kids' practices, at night before bed, soaking in the bath, cooking dinner, etc until it was done. i immediately went back and grabbed the sequal which I'm starting today.

Oh i cried a lot!

This is a wonderful read. A real story of men's relationships with their kids while they put their lives on the line for the people of the town. I'll be honest. i watched the movie before I read the book and I was very surprised that the book was way better than the movie! i enjoyed the movie emmensely!

This very much is a feel good book with great morals and a purpose. you come away from it a better person.

This book was a great character back story of a minor character Bree Tanner from the original series. It told what the change was like for the average every day Joe vampire. I'd really love if the author would do this with all her characters!

The author did a great job of setting up the scene, developing the characters, and the tempo of the book was hypnotic. There was enough adjectives to really feel like you were in the boat with them without droning on about unimportant details.

She did voices great and kept the tempo easy to follow. her voice was very easy on the ears and sounded uppity victorian just as you'd expect the main character to be. Perfect fit!

Grace definately.

There was a little hitch in the book near the end where they went abrupty from teh lifeboat to the court, to the lifeboat, then to the court, then flashbacked to the lifeboat after the trial was over for wrap up. I'd have preferred just wrap up the story, then move into the court stuff.

I was also a little disappointed that Grace didn't learn much nor come out of it a better person overall. There was also little about her realtionship with Miranda after the trial. I'd assume she learned a great deal about her sister and would have done more, but she sort of wrote her off.

if you are at all interested in the Titanic survivor stories, this is definately for you!

I don't think so. He was a good writer and all, but hearing him jaunt about spending money and time doing this outrageous stuff started to get my jealousy going.

His voice, his personality, his true perspective as he wrote it. :-)

This was a good read. Sometimes unrelateable and at times definately unbelievable. There were some topics I thoguht he could have developed more and others could have been left out or the detail pared down. It's good for a laugh, but not as a reference guide.
